Hey y'all so I was redirected here, I'm a fellow Oregonian and was wondering if anyone else has had dealings with one JC? He's some white dude who drives around in a van with a lot of stuff in the vehicle. He's sold me a couple of Transformers and I've sold a couple of mine to him but he just sketched me out the last time me and him met and was wondering if anyone else has had business with him?
Welcome to the thread!! I haven't personally had dealings....or even heard of the guy you are talking about, but just your description makes him seem sketchy as hell. No way I'd go for that. There are a couple stores that some locals avoid, but most of the local spots are ok-to-decent here.
Johnson Creek Fred Meyer has: Studio Series Hot Rod Studio Series Scourge Kingdom Arcee Kingdom Huffer Kingdom Airazor
Tanasbourne Target has 1x Kingdom Dinobot 1x Kingdom Inferno 2x Kingdom Huffer 2x Kingdom Airazor 3x Kingdom Arcee 2x SS Dino 2x SS B-127 And for the Joe's boys 2x Lady Jaye 2x Cobra Commander
I guess the street date for Target Red Card exclusive Kingdom T-Wrecks is today, June 1. Haven't seen anyone post about seeing it at brick and mortar anywhere, or a link on target.com. DCPI #087-16-284.
Not sure if this will ever affect Transformers, but our local stores are starting to limit what you can buy out of normal wave case packs. Both Cascade and 205 Target were limiting sales of the new Marvel Legends Villains assortment to one figure per case — not one of each, one period out of the assortment. 205 let me buy more than one when I pointed out it was an assortment. Cascade wouldn’t budge. This is brand new behavior for these stores and kind of shitty.
Yea, was surprised when Cascade did it and then when 205 tried to do the same thing. At Fairview the figures were out on the pegs like normal. I’m of the mindset if they feel they need to limit these so carefully, they need to order more? Cascade said they were doing it so they didn’t sell out ASAP, but the assortment is designed to sell to one person since it’s a build a figure wave. Just order more cases.
Sherwood Walmart wave 2 headmasters and target has wave 2 kingdom deluxes and 3 hot rods. Totally miss Tru and their big selection of super soakers for a day like this...
I can't imagine that they want to have fewer than they can sell. Maybe the distributors can only only provide so many?
I just don't understand it. I've heard that 'target doesn't like collectors' and 'target only intends on selling 1 figure a day' or something how much business sense does that make? if anyone was paying attention they'd realize that the collector-aimed products sell out constantly. Its like they don't WANT money.....
Don't know if anyone else watched the GI Joe Fan First Friday but it looks like Cobra Island Wave 1 is getting a re-release through Target. Tall order but I'm looking for 3 more Troopers. As always I'll be hunting for as many as I can get my grubby hands on but if anyone can get a spare too it'd be great! I know it sucks I need that many but damn, it's an army builder. Can't have just one of these guys.
Sherwood Target has all of the Wave 2 Kingdom Deluxes. Sherwood Walmart has tons of Wave 1 Kingdom deluxes, lots of Wave 2 Headmasters, and lots of Netflix Kingdom deluxes.
Eastport Walmart has two full cases of Kingdom Deluxe Wave 2 on the shelf, maybe more. Tons of everyone.
The PNW collectors facebook group has been posting lots of full shelves at Walmarts. It seems like things are maybe finally getting back to saturation.
Woodvillage Fred Meyers has a Kingdom Cyclonus. Also some Tiny Turbo series 4. Why do I mention them? Some are cast in sparkly clear plastic. Look delicious.
Had… had a Cyclonus. Just went and picked it up, and it looks gorgeous! Now to wait and hope I get lucky and find Galvatron somewhere. Edit: I do notice his right arm is a little loose, though. Nothing to deal breaking.
Hasn't been spotted on shelves anywhere yet AFAIK. The pics that are showing up are from copies "acquired" from factories.
