Like seriously. Put Skidz and Mudflap in there and they'd probably get votes... doesn't mean there's suddenly this massive audience Hasbro is ignoring.

 

It was one of the reasons I finally dropped MTMTE. Victory was my second favorite TF anime after Master Force. They're the two that I have rewatched every few years since I found out they existed back in the early 90s. I'm pretty picky about what I spend my $$ on, so I haven't even found a good enough 3P Star Saber yet. It's one of my favorite TF designs and everyone half asses the character or design. The MP was close to perfect in design, but it had too many QC issues with the joints.

The other Stunticons plugging in is gravy. You can get that by retooling the arms/legs. It'll work beautifully and people will buy the f**k outta it.

You can quote me on this. 2022 Motormaster will not have a trailer that turns inside-out to form Menasor's body without the core robot/cab attached.

Reasons:
-It's not G1-accurate
-Menasor wouldn't scale with the inevitable Superion, Defensor, or Bruticus re-dos if Motormaster scales with the Silverbolt, Hot Spot, and Onslaught re-dos
-Motormaster wouldn't scale with the inevitable Silverbolt, Hot Spot, or Onslaught re-dos if Menasor scales with the Superion, Defensor, and Bruticus re-dos
-I'd cry my little manbabby heart out if it happens
-Either Motormaster/Menasor or Powermaster Optimus Prime will need to sacrifice their cartoon/comic accuracy in order to achieve this, or both

It's fun speculation, but to state it as a prediction is utterly ridiculous.

But of course, if it does happen, and I wouldn't put it past Hasbro to do a 180°, but based on the level of quality, accuracy, and scale of the modern CHUG lines, it's not gonna happen.


1000% credit to T-Hybrid though if it does happen. It takes something grand to dedicate yourself to a prediction like that.

 

I think I saw Emgo do a video review of that particular 3p project.

But you're seeing it there in the photo. Motormaster is just the truck cab. And Menasor is the trailer. Motormaster folds up into a cube and plugs into the back of the chest, you can't even see him from the front, then the other Stuntis plug into their spots.

Sure Needlenose is cool and all guys but personally I prefer [insert obscure G1 character] more they deserve a figure first imo.

Welcome to TFW2005 new comer!

 

It's cool seeing MP fans getting this style which they enjoy, but as a CHUG fan I'm really hoping they do anything but this style. As poorly as Combiner Wars was executed in certain regards, the fact that they were pure combiners using only separate hand and foot kibble made them perfect for CHUG which was never just about static display and toon accuracy. I know there's practically no way motormaster won't partsform to make the torso of menasor, but I just hope that design philosophy will be a one-off situation and the rest of the combiners won't follow suit.


Also I know this is a controversial opinion but Sunbow Menasor is straight trash.

I think that take is pretty common take... It's literally just a robot with cars slapped on most people aren't a fan
I have a feeling people are going to be disappointed when the new one is toon accurate

 

Would anybody here be ok with them sacrificing Powermaster Prime/Ginrai's Base Mode in order to make a Apex Prime/God Ginrai that matches the anime's proportions and isn't a wobbly mess?
