It's been said like 40 times in this thread to sand down the peg. It's a super easy fix that has been said many times.

I know, I just have never done it and I'm completely new. I wanted to see a video doing so I wouldn't mess it up
And why so mean? Do you have any problem?

Don’t worry about it, everyone on this site is like that for some reason. Here’s what you do: get 220 or 320 grit paper sandpaper, and if you want to be really fancy get 400 wet/dry as well, or 0000 steel wool. Wrap the 220 strip around the peg, and give it a few turns, then test the fit. The moment it feels snug but starts to slide in, get the 400 wet and give that a few turns until the plastic luster matches the original shine again, then test fit. You can do it multiple times until it fits right, just take it slow. Remember that you can always send more, but you can’t add material back once it’s gone.

if you get it to loose, get Kiki’s fix loose joints off of Amazon. Every toy collector should have a bottle of it, anyway so don’t think of it as wasting too much money on this. Alternately, I just ran some shock oil over the peg and mine works now without having to alter the figure.

I could not believe how much I had to shave the peg down for the shield on my copy. I ended up getting tired of laboriously sanding it (I only have sanding sticks because I'm a model kit hobbyist,) and ended up just shaving it down with my hobby knife. There's so much excess material!

Didn't someone say something about shaving down some parts in the shoulders to get the backward butterfly joint back? What's the trick with that?

And has anyone figured out how to increase downward head range? I've just been popping the head off and sitting it on the balljoint but that's not really ideal - It looks to me like the part with the screw that the neck balljoint is pegged to is too small, maybe? Anyone have both figures and able to snap a picture of the underside of the head mount and the underside of the head on standard Dragoon? Might ask over there too, but I'd like to mod it if possible.

Really not a fan of how he does that. That peg isn't exactly substantial to begin with, and deliberately adding a narrow "break here" point just seems like asking for trouble. Or, rather, it would be if the ball was actually tight in the socket - the way he's able to so easily remove the head makes me think it isn't. Unit-to-unit variation could be a factor there.

The alternative would be cutting a notch into the actual head itself, turning the round socket entry into an egg shape with the narrow part towards the front. But there's obviously a chance that could make it looser still if not done properly, and I'd have to inspect the head to see if there's anything in that area which is structural (odds are there isn't but you never know).

I actually looked into modding the head itself instead of the socket, but it's just so loose already I didn't want to risk it. The balljoint is ultra-easy to pop off, and the peg for the balljoint is so thick I decided it wasn't a point of concern. I genuinely can't imagine the ballpeg breaking off unless you dropped this guy on his head, even with the notch cut in - It's as thick as some figures' shoulder pegs, if not moreso.

Also, something weird: I was taking apart the thigh to tighten the leg ratchets, because on my copy they're so weak they're almost useless - And one of the screws holding the right thigh together just.... Straight up wasn't threaded at all. Like, a smooth pin with a screw-head on top. Super bizarre.

    Great advice.
Any suggestions on what kind of electric screwdriver and glue for thickening things I should get? I don't know what exactly the guy in the video use.

I asked what electric screwdriver he used. He used XIAOMI MIJIA ELECTRIC PRECISION SCREWDRIVER KIT.
I think he uses an epoxy adhesive (I might be wrong tho).
And he uses an awl to get glue on smaller places.

Nice pics, Megs looks amazing! That's not the stock head for Orion, is it?
That's Knight Orion, not Challenger. The gun you can get from Dino Model Shop on instagram. I have one too! Although I think Orion actually comes with one of those too.

Got mine today. He is missing a finger, his belly tends to come undone easily, and some of his joints are looser than a two dollar whore. But most can be fixed with Kiki's loose joints and a replacement part from ShowZ. Overall he is is okay and once I fix him up and get that replacement part he should be a nice edition.
