Me too. I'm only in on this set for combined mode and I wanna see it. They keep moving further away from what I want in bot mode and I'm worried combined will be to far left of what I'm looking for.

Also, my comments are completely about what I'm looking for. The quality of the three released so far are fantastic and there's nothing arbitrarily wrong with any of them. They're fantastic. Just not what I want design-wise for bot mode is all.

The head sculpt on Razorclaw was bugging me because it looked familiar even though it didn't look like Razowclaw. Now I'm pretty sure it's based on Cybertron Scourge, specifically the Ultra class figure's head.

 

I'm personally in on this set for bot mode more than anything. While i'll be getting Zeta's Predacons later down the line (once they resurrect that oldie...), i'm not the hugest fan of the original G1 aesthetic when it comes to them. I want my Predacons to looks like predators in comparison to all the other Decepticons. Intimidating, exotic (in comparison to the other Decepticons, for lack of a better term) due to the fact that they transform into animals rather than your usual vehicles, destructive, etc etc and etc.

I should note that I also kinda hold this standard for the Terrorcons, Seacons, (insert similar combiner teams and other bots here).

Though when it comes to the combiner, it for me is what is going to make me either get an extra set or keep only the one. And I agree, Cang Toys is definitely going farther in terms of the pendulum swing, though i'm more 50/50 on it rather than just absolutely not.

I really hope Predaking turns out really well, offering something unique while still looking a lot like the original. Though if it does end up looking jarring by comparison, i'll have to pull some sort of stop.

 

The monkey should carry the cannons, not Razorclaw. That's what monkeys are for.

Razorclaw images have quickly killed any faith I have that this set will look good when finished. The first 2 were awesome looking, Divebomb is where the meh begins, and Razorclaw is full on puke. This release is becoming a gotcha release. They are 3 figure through 5 member team, 6 with their stupid monkey pants and they have yet to show ANYTHING remotely close to a complete combiner. They need to put up or shut up. Feral Rex's days are safe as far as I'm concerned with this release at this point.
