Very much, yes! It's insane how much money SS Ironhide goes for nowadays. He's the only character I want, but don't own in the 07 cast; aside from Bonecrusher and Jazz.

 

I also need those two. For some reason bonecrusher is a shit load of money as well here in Au. Don’t think he made it to shelves here.

 

Does anyone here think that the Evasion Optimus head would look good on the HFTD battle blades Optimus? I never liked the standard masked head so I have a spare junker evasion OP and also a DOTM walmart exclusive OP that has the alt unmasked head and I can't decide which one would look cooler

 

Id say the evasion mode head looks best. Ive got a spare Evasion Mode Prime head on my Studio series Optimus.

I've seen that OS one a lot, it has some die-cast parts and there is also a red 'Stinger' one.

Might be fun to customize and make it look good along with the other OS AOE Autobots.

 

I have it here somewhere. while the altmode is decent, the bot is holow and a bit weird.. it needs a lot of work to be decent.. there are some good ones trough, the OS TLK Bee is quite decent as is that OS SS49 Bee, those for nicely in the HA scale.. but they fail to compare to the Blue Circus OS Mpm3

On a sidenote, for my Boky Trailer, a friend is going to make casts of the Shield ( I need two on the trailer) that came with Commander.. they will be 16 cm (6.3 inch) Are people interested in getting these? I can ask him to make more.

 

Yes you're right! Thanks for the correction. I remembered that there was one leader optimus who was unmasked but I had it in my head that it was one of the takara ones so I didn't count it.

Am I the only one here who thinks SS Ironhide is super overrated? He can barely move his head and arms, and the tiny thighs and huge shoulders really throw off the proportions for me. I don't have the DNA kit though, which supposedly makes him way more fun, but I much prefer the MPM, faults and all.

Also, am I the only one who kinda sorta wants this figure? Yes, it fills me with shame to even think of ordering it, but the Optimus parts are actually really well sculpted. Maybe if she wasn't so naked I'd feel more OK about it (and yes some of the bonus parts are very NSFW) [Pre-Order] AlienAttack Toys OPG Optional Girl M2 Version

 

This is my complete AOE Dinobot team, which I am quite happy with (all in Takara version with better coloring, including, Scorn, Slug and Strafe, in double version including the "black knight"... even Grimlock is this version)! What would make me even more satisfied would be to have the entire AOE Dinobot team in the new studio series versions, but not only the four Dinobots that appeared in the film, but also Slog, Snarl and Slash... that would be great! SS Grimlock has long been out, then, Scorn, Slug, Snarl and Slog, in the leader class version, Strafe and Slash in the voyager version, and all possibly well colored like SS Grimlock... Hasbro get busy, that this team is in great demand!

 

I'm thinking about it. I'm trying to avoid the stand alone purchases and I have my gripes with some of the aesthetic choices made. A legit female Optimus intrigues me more.

 

Get it! Having issues with the exposed skin parts? No problem, just paint it black or some other color and say she is wearing a bodysuit!

I would really dig an AOE/TLK version, that would be perfect body built wise.

 

The figure reminds me of Frame Arms Girl, Megami Device and the like; I've always liked those designs, and I've built one FA girl and two Megami Devices. If I had the money I'd totally consider getting one, if it's a similar size to those.
I'm a sucker for Mecha Musume style art so that's a reason this interests me.

 

Collect what makes YOU happy. Not like someone's gonna arrest you for playing with them lol. NGL, if there was a male version done in a similar fashion to this, I'd probably be more interested in it haha

 

For me, I love the figure because it just looks sensational. The vehicle mode looks amazing, and it rolls very well (as rolling things should. Hooray for rolling). The robot mode, while hampered by the bumper in the middle of the torso, looks like it stepped right out of the movie. The cannons are even well detailed. It's a good figure all around, and I'm glad I managed to snag it on TFSource when I had the chance.

Well that's...definitely something. It's your hard earned money so spend it however you want. You shouldn't feel shame in doing that. The Prime parts are very well sculpted. The swords have the Cybertronian markings and the truck tires are greebly much like the tires on the CGI model. That's an amazing amount of attention for a figure like this.
