I absolutely adore this figure. Easy to transform, beautiful and super toon accurate in both modes, and feels super solid with great QC.

And he works great in terms of relative scale between BA and bigger bots. I just hope Kingdom Terrorsaur ends up being sufficiently show accurate, or else that TE does him next.

This is the only Blackarachnia he looks any good with:

You sound very disappointed. Don't worry, the figure should be worth the wait

I feel scorponok kingdom head sculpt looks more primate like. Meh... who knows this might be his updated look for the new kingdom series. And his height might be cartoon accurate for kingdom. Since kingdom cartoon already has a didn't scale for the maximals and Predacons to the autobots and Decepticons. Remember in beastwars they were only a 1/3 of the g1 character heights where in kingdom the look around the same height as the g1 characters. But yes TE scorponok is smaller, but works great with TE Blackarachnia and TE Rattrap as it should.

Again just wait until transformers kingdom cartoon come out to see if it's accurate in height scale as it is part of kingdom and not part of the 90s beastwars cartoon.

So I got mine in from Terry TFS Club, and it's.. good! Definitely fiddly and tiny. The paint has already chipped off quite a fair amount from the red scorpion legs, and the connection for the hole from the side of the robot foot to the peg under the scorpion head were bad on one side—I had to sand things down a bit just to get it to snap together. Otherwise, joints are just right, and it's got a lot of personality. Shame there's nothing one can really do with the bee, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before someone gets it attached to Optimus Primal's chest.

They are. Maybe I'm misinterpreting and it's just some flecks of black paint that got on there. Not a big deal either way.

Is there a place you can store the drone/little bug that comes with the TE Stinger Warrior?

Finally got mine. He is indeed good. Articulation is great, despite lack of waist swivel.

    20210527_211032.jpg

The scale is acceptable enough for me.

    20210527_205927.jpg

When i first got mine, i immediately sanded the peg on the scorpion head that connect to the robot feet, because it is way uncomfortably too tight. Also applied some nail polish on the shoulder and hip joint. While they are not floppy, they're not as tight as i like.

Also one more accident, during transformation, one of the metal bar on the scorpion's leg hinge fell off for some reason. Just the imagine the anxiety of looking for something so tiny it even smaller than floor tile gap.

Bro! Same here! First joint, last leg, left side. I plugged that back in and glued the side. Scary problem to have.

    Yup, Rhinox’s chest.

I'm so tempted to pull the trigger but I'm afraid of how small he will look with my MP Beastwars. I don't care too too much as I mix all kinds of beast wars (original, TM, MP) all together, but reckon scorponok is gunna be dwarfed by the entire main crew. Ack.
Maybe I should get him as a stand in so I at least have a good scorponok in case a good looking larger one never or takes forever to materialize.

I more or less followed what I saw in Ben’s KO review.

He'd definitely be way too small for them overall, but he might be a decent placeholder in beast mode. I didn't take a picture unfortunately but he looked pretty good like that with the two MP Preds since the scale differences aren't as obvious in beast mode.

I ordered it. To hell with scale lol. He can just be smaller in my collection's own universe, it's not like the beasts in BW were to scale with real life animals anyway. I don't really have a lot of faith in the David Lee stuff either but if I'm proven wrong, I can jump ship later.
This guy will be getting the boot:

He is quite tiny, even next to MP Blackarachnia and chug Windblade.

He is legend scale so he should be smaller than a chug figure and chug figured should be smaller than MP.
