I'd rather see a legitimate robot female Optimus Prime. I don't like the turquoise hair should've been blonde to red fade (or vice versa). Having her wear what looks like a normal cloth black covid mask is unforgivable. Prime's silver mouth plate should be automatic.

 

They even got Prime's window-tits.

 

Again looks like an average Figma, the metallic paint looks beautiful, you can see that they censored the chest area, the boobs were obviously meant to be flesh colored but they just painted it red, overall nice set, also which figure is the one in a swimsuit?

 

Eyes and hair need to be fixed. Otherwise, genuinely not bad.

 

It's the same figure. There appear to be optional parts which means you can almost certainly keep the flesh colored boobs and butt with the Prime armor.

Agree with those who say it looks worse in color. And I think I said something to this effect before but I kinda wish they'd gone with a little more playful sexy rather than show as much skin as possible sexy (yes I know she's got the metallic shorts and shirt but it's like we've already said, those are clearly meant to be skin). And give her some personality (no not that kind; I mean her face). Also I don't like that she has four buttocks: when you move her legs forward, they leave the buttocks behind but they have their own buttocks. Looks really weird.

I'm still going to get her, but I wish she were blond. I may actually repaint her hair. Right now she looks like a busty Miku

Also, I wish she weren't wearing... whatever that swimsuit is. I don't mind her being busty, but she needs to be wearing a flannel shirt and Daisy Dukes.

Finally! A Transformers themed anime girl figure that'll help boost my gaming PC's performance!

Seriously though, I basically agree with what most other people have said in this thread already. Her face doesn't quite look right. The robot parts look great, but the fleshy bits I think detract from it. I'd much prefer this be an actual transformable female Optimus, rather than just an anime girl in lewd Optimus cosplay. I'll probably stick with BFB Nicee and FT Windblade.

Yeah, that "swimsuit" is kind of gross and uninspired. I kind of wish she came with an outfit that more harkened to what you'd think a human version of Optimus Prime would look like, or his holo-avatar.


I will be interested to see if they do other Transformers girly figures. Hopefully they improve upon this design. I could see a Bumblebee figure being super cute. But I hope they do non-movie bots in the future.

 

Too bad there's actually 2 "versions" of this figure...should just be one IMO.

But seriously, you don't think flannel and cutoffs are better than a micro bikini? She's a truck. It makes her look like a trucker girl. Throw in a baseball cap and we're good to go.

The annoying thing is she's just the wrong size for Play Arts Kai. They're 10" and she's 8.5" She might scale with that Minerva and Hi-Q that were released a few years ago. But those are crazy expensive at this point. Optima Prima here is exactly 1/9 scale.

Personally, I liked where they went with redhead fem Shephard from Mass Effect.

 

Just gonna note, pretty sure there's a real valid reason why this isn't a fembot Optimus like some people want and is instead an anime girl. This isn't made with fans of primarily/only transformers in mind. It's made for those who collect anime girl figures, which is a pretty sizable market, that also have an interest in transformers, or just the general aesthetic of anime girls with pointy weapons and skimpy armor. It's for a vastly different market with slight overlap due to the specific brand being used.

Though comparing this to the likes of ATK Girls, Megami Device, and Frame Arm Girls, it still looks somewhat disappointing. Sure it's their first attempt, but surely I think they could've done more.

Some actual thoughts; I think it's fine. It's kinda cute in a fanservice way. My only concerns:

1. The blue hair does not really mesh well with the Optimus bits. I think giving us hair options like yellow or blazing orange will do wonders.

2. Give her abs. If she's going to parade with armor of the greatest Autobot who ever lived, Movies notwithstanding, she better have some muscle definition and some scars. Daidoji that shit!
