Not really, I got hyped for TFA and wasn't dissapointed, same for Blade Runner 2049. Though on TFA I got annoyed with the ANH similarities. I might keep them a little low.
I’m doing my best to keep my hopes lowwwwwww and my mind open. So much of Dune just won’t lend itself to film.
There are some contradictions that dune will release only in theaters or same day. I hope they do release it only in theaters. A premiere at Venice will only help the film.
Yeah, old news. I didn't post it because WB head of communications said the film is still coming the same day. Though they might want to reveal it themselves and they didn't like it getting leaked earlier.
Dark Horse will be releasing 3 figures on 1st September, each $49.99. Paul: 9.25'' tall Jessica: 8.9'' tall Duncan: 9.5'' tall
Prime1 Studio got the Dune license. I hope we get a statue of the Shai Hulud, one thing that dissapoints me is that we still didn't see any Sardaukar or Ornithopter merch.
According to IndieWire, Dune will open the Venice Film Festival this fall. We are in for something big. Film Festivals Prepare for a 2021 Comeback: Cannes, Telluride, and More Aim to Prove Their Worth
WB Executives Confirm ‘Dune’ Won’t Have An Exclusive Theatrical Window, Despite Reports To The Contrary Ugh, fuck Jason Kilar and WB. I really hope it will make good money in the first 45 days, it releases earlier in Europe and China for theaters only. Still dissapointing, everyone should watch it in a theater, this movie should be an experience.
It should be up to every individual how they want to experience it. Them releasing it digitally doesn't stop you from going to the theater. Like they point out in the article, simultaneous release did not hurt Kong vs Godzilla one bit.
