Agreed. When I was looking to make this mod myself, I was trying to find a way to utilize a pair of extra wings that could convert into a chassis for Lug to attach to. Then I got red biked by other projects.

 

According to tfwiki her transformation is similar to TR mindwipe, Her legs are supposed to become the upper wings, but that would require a new pair of legs.

This is still one of my very favorite conversions.

For anyone who bought the kit (or if @SteamShield himself wants to chime in), I was wondering how difficult it would be to modify this kit for PotP Battleslash (removing his helicopter blade, natch) instead? I'm going to take a stab at making an Anode head for him from Sculpey -- and a Lug head for PotP Roadtrap -- and then repainting them both, but doing the wings and turbine/engine from scratch are way outside my noob skill level.

Yes, they need to be detached to form the engine block of the alt mode.

@SteamShield Did you remove the sticker from Windblade's chest or just paint over it?

 

Removing it would be the best thing to do. Just peel it off and a little isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab should remove the leftover adhesive. I'm guessing that's what he did as well
