Ok, so thanks to having to self-isolate for the next week, figured I'd finally give a go at transforming the DX YF-19. Christ, do I wish I had not done so....because now I need two. The fighter and battroid modes are both so damned gorgeous. The transformation wasn't all that bad, actually. I even managed it without instructions. Kinda wish the auto cannon could be used with the rifle together, but meh, no biggie. You can really tell the designer(s) put a lot of love into this figure. Absolutely phenomenal.
Now this Arad 31 can can go for! Now the question is... Is that the same adapter as the Lil’Draken clips reused (on the solo Lil’Draken kit and on the Movie 31f add on kit) to attach the Supers on the wings of it gets made on DX? Plus no Speaker pod (which is only on Hayate’s re-issue 31j).
Me want. I do wonder though how long we have to wait for Bandai to produce this DX. A year? I'm sure Hayate's will come first.
I think it’s a 31a Kai @David Hingtgen. Let’s see what the guys say on MW on this version of Arad as their more versed on the 31 and the variants. Hayate is just a straightforward re-issue @Flapjacks. Arad’s 31a might be a bit longer as it’s a different colour than the CF 31a. Might be that Windermerian and Xaos might be combining their technology together like what was mentioned on MW?
I'm talking about Hayate's newest valk for the movie. I'm sure he'll have one given he's the main character.
Did some digging on the new 31 for the Delta Live movie. Reposting from Seto Kaiba from MW on the Delta Zettai Live thread: " The only noteworthy bit is that this new VF is apparently called the "Parmenides"... an odd choice, since Parmenides was a Greek philosopher whose fragmentary surviving work is best known for dictums like "Nothing comes from nothing" and ruminations like the distinction between objective and subjective experience. The YF-30 and stock VF-31 are named for Greek personifications of time (chronological time/Chronos and moments of great change/Kairos) while the original Xaos VF-31 custom was named for the mythic hero Siegfried." Nothing yet on the classification model on the new 31a.
Crap...missed it... That thing will probably be the next Macross item I purchase. Fingers crossed for a reissue or something.

That provokes the question - have they ever done a reissue of HMR Macross figures? I know they've done it with HMR Dougram.
Not that I can think of other than the Roy 1S. But I think that was either a simultaneous release or very close together with one that came with the exclusive stand.
That one got two batches and released that the same time (either the TWE with the stand or without). You know why I remember this one clearly? I got burnt by NY as I got the TWE with the stand and I had to pay more as I was on the second batch. The first batch that with the stand didn't pay a difference in price, the second batch with the stand had to pay the difference due to the fact that NY had to source out the remaining unfulfilled orders with the stand somewhere else (and there was a ruckuss on the HMR thread on MW cause of that). Stopped using NY after one more pre-order and went with Manda, Jungle and Amiami afterwards.

Oh really? Interesting. All this time I was waiting for the non-stand reissue to happen, didn't know it already did. Bummer, guess I'm stuck with aftermarket prices after all. I'm a pass on this one.
