I love that he doesn’t fake things. Parts from the buggy mode are apparent on the airplane mode, and vice versa. But they are still extremely well designed and as unobtrusive as you could reasonably expect. I so hope this line pans out!

No idea at this point. Last we heard they were going to give us final renders and price, but that was several months ago and never got an update.

Hopefully we can get more info soon. Still super excited for this guy.

Why’d it go from painted prototype to unpainted  

 

Probably a revised prototype.

 

Maybe the painted is 3D printed then hand painted version for toy shows.
This grey mold is the latest?

Looking good. I really want a Quickstrike in the same design as the Bayverse F22s. Seems like 80% of the work would be easily translated over into his character.

 

I’d be down for a Whirl deco, with just an alternative cyclopean head sculpt and light blue paint.

 

Looks like it's got new elbows and probably some other minute changes

 

if they deco this as movie dropkick or just a generic helicopter guy i'm SO in this looks fantastic
