    The cartoon is cool. The toys are just things that middle aged fans think children will love. They don't. My grandsons are six and eight. The six year old got one for his birthday from his other grandparents and referred to it as (and I quote) 'a baby toy' before strapping it to firecrackers with his dad and brother out in their backyard last 4th of July. That was the only enjoyment he got out of it. The big purple car thing went boom.

    Their friends don't play with them either. 'They're dumb'. You can't give kids trash and tell them it's treasure. They're young. Not stupid.

    Neither of them even knew there was a new show on CN, Netflix or YouTube and didn't seem to care when I mentioned them. They love the movies and always want to mess with my TFs when they see them. They love BotBots because they're funny and the Fossilizers because they can make weird monsters. Their favorite toy of mine is a Sonokong Death Garry Gun because 'it looks cool'.

    My son is still waiting for Cyberverse toys of characters he wants that don't suck like Dead End. But we get these instead.

    I hope Power Linking stays just a lame toy thing, focusing on that would ruin the Cyberverse cartoon. And it was starting to get good.

    The Power Linking can't possibly be worse than Cyberverse's stupid and badly written "AUTOBOTS UNITE!" power up thing, so it's weird to throw flack at normal-combining when the show already has much worse intrusive toy-shilling in it.
