THIS. Oh, my gosh...this. Thank you.

I guess telling the truth and educating people can be boring. *shrugs* Guess lies are more exciting or something. Sad state of affairs if that's the world one wishes to live in.

Not liking bike mode at all. Rear end looks empty and unfinished. Front looks goofy as well with the forks coming out of the bottom. I'll stick with KFC this round.

Looking at the pics... not feeling this as much as I’d thought.
    Probable pass.

I'm not going to be sure until I have them both in hand, but I'm fairly certain my favorite 86 film figure released this year is going to come down to Galvatron and Wreck-Gar. Look at that glorious beast!

I said it in the FFF thread, but I'm genuinely shocked by how simple his transformation ends up being. The unhinged waist being the only real trick up his sleeve, and yet he works so damn well in both modes.

Now I just need another Junkion for him to ride.

It's absolutely stupid how people are having this, when those same people are humping the legs of rodimus and galvatron.
This is a, probably temporary, return the form that sucked me back in when I saw blur, hotrod, cyclonus. This is damn accurate. And better than KFC because KFC upper torso is less square.

    Im all in on this.

After what we had seen recently I had expected wreckgar was going to look crap...., and extra inch and a half for the front of the bike mode to stick out from the main body.

It's clear the team who designed this, blur, hotrod, kup, cyclonus, must have been on holiday when the team were asked to make rodimus, galvatron, earth mode magus

I've waited for a wreckgar since I was a kid. The rts and generations dirtbike iteration was impossible to get in the uk. And the cw retooled groove is terrible!

My guess the next one's will be scrapheap and junkyard and just use the heads from the botcon sg 3 pack

These are not earth bikes. The junkions have never been to earth..., they just saw the vehicle on the tv shows and how it was depicted as a cool vehicle...., the fonz had one, easy rider, terminator etc, so they made their altmodes bikes, so they could ride each other and emulate the tv shows.
They have zero reference of how big bikes were on earth, they just wanted to be like the riders on tv.

This is a non issue with wreckgar. It only applies to bayverse deluxe arcee...., but then the other option is to get the crappy tiny figures in the ss 3 pack.

    But this is wreckgar thread.

    This is perfection!

I always wanted Soundwave to just start randomly killing humans in that scene.

Not dismissing the actual point of the post, but just a minor correction here. Had never been to Earth, when they were first introduced.

Wreck-Gar did come to Earth later sometime during S3 (not sure if there was ever a proper show of him doing so, or if he just shows up randomly). He's with the Autobots during Return of Optimus Prime, I remember as much.

Wreck Gar is mostly on Junkion and he comes to Cybertron for Dweller in the Depths. I do believe in TROOP part 1, after Rodimus escapes with Optimus body, he calls him to come to Autobot city in hopes he could revive Optimus Prime. To which Wreck Gar says one of my favorite deadpan lines: He’s dead Jim.

he’s a damn space motorcycle. Rules don’t apply. Buy the toy or don’t... simple

It's not stolen. The transformation is completely different.

I think the kfc altmode is shit.

The back end looks crap. The sides don't have the sort of faring created by the legs do its too slim line, the front wheel posts completely detach and parts form, not just the wheel.
The ss86 I superior in both modes.

Yeah, we're trying to figure out why that one guy has a stick up his butt. His definition of "steal" is certainly unlike what everybody else in the world uses.

I wish they'd be more up front about plans for troop builders. Like for this guy and Scourge I'd like to get a bunch, but I've held off since I don't know if they're going to do any variants or packs. If I knew they only planed on doing the one, I'd still be getting multiples. It'd be nice to know if I should be getting extras now or waiting for more.

Hadn't seen this personally. Apologies if already posted (usually I find these on the official Takara site or Hasbro sites but couldn't when I checked. Unless it was in the Fan Friday stream and I missed it in which case, again, sorry lol.)

Yeah the back end of the bike mode looks a bit like the designer gave up, sort of like every 3rd party Arcee toy before T30 came out, but the robot mode is pretty dark gorgeous from every angle you look at it.

If a slightly compromised rear of the alt mode is what it takes to get such a perfect bot mode, than I’ll take it.

    Overall he looks great.

Every time I see another one of these Studio Series in real form, (not concept, or renders, or whatever) I am just blown away at how they are able to accomplish THAT level of screen accuracy into a transforming toy; AND at this price point.

Couldn't be any happier to have these toys on my shelf, and next to me as I watch TV, and on my work desk....etc etc. ;)

Both a Junkion and a Sweep are in the rumour list along with store listings for both. So I would say that it is very likely that both will be available in a future wave.
