they wanted to celebrate the movie with the announcement of it 4K release and some of the toys related to it. They probably weren’t ready to reveal some live action figures yet too

 

I love the SS86 !! are the best of the best on SS!!! Can't wait for MORE!!  

 

I'll get Wreck-Gar, but I much prefer the orange of the CGI model than the weird red of the physical copy.

 

I was able to order 4 Wreck-Gar figures from there at least. Also managed to get on an order of 3 Sharkticons from BBTS.

As for SLAG, I'm more than confident I'll find him in a Walmart somewhere when the time comes. I know for a fact people will probably never see a single sharkticon or Wreck-Ger in stores. they are far too popular as army builders.

They look good for the money, but Slag looks a bit cheap. Nothing I’ll worry about missing though.

 

Everything shown off yesterday is a must have, especially Wreck-Gar.

Though i wish they'd show off Grindor and Jolt...it was kinda annoying and a waste to talk this much about another blu-ray release of the 86 movie, i get it's 86 themed but they're packaged in the same exact wave....why not, they don't HAVE to go into detail but just show it off regardless.

I think Wreck Gar looks great, but his nipples are incredibly distracting. He looks cold.

Gnaw looks solid but I have ten of the legends figure I\'ve accumulated over the years and I\'m not sure I really need more.

Slag looks cool, but we knew that.

they're mainline wide releases. i bought all of the initial SS86 toys in a different store so these shouldn't be hard to find. that said, BBTS still has em up for pre-order if you don't want to mess with the hunt. Pulse still has all 3 SG figures available to pre-order.

 

Sweet! I'm happy! Wreck-Gar looks perfect; I'll keep my old CHUG version of him and Junkheap or whatever his face is for SS86's first Junkion minions! Sharkticon looks wicked! I've got 6 on pre-order. Slag....perfect, even without his sword. Keep 'em coming Hasbro! Can't wait to see Perceptor and Blaster and a proper G1 Sideswipe! (Would it be too much to hope that Hasbro gets an official licensing deal for him with Lambro as they did with VW for Bumblebee??) Primus make it so!
