I called him on Thursday and he said the same thing as the other guy, so I think I can trust him. I think it’ll be showing up in US stores within this month but that’s just my guess. Good luck on finding him

They had Cyclonus in December, before Christmas, so it's entirely possible that he's on his way.

You think for those who preordered from GameStop’s online store he will come as well that soon or no?

    That’s interesting
based on knowledge I wasn’t even a aware of, I would assume so. I’m not a good judge on that possibility however

Is Big W your parallel version of Walmart over in the land down under?

I called a local GS (US) and the guy said it won't even be in until the week after the 1st of September. 1st is the date for the warehouse, stores will get one week from that.

It's entirely possible we'll see it there beforehand, but not likely.

That’s odd. I asked him about the same thing and he said that tracks (which I preordered alongside Roddy) would be the one coming out later. I’m hoping your guy is a bit misinformed because I really want him to come out soon, but I see no reason to deny a GS employee. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Perhaps my GS just mixed up tracks and Rodimus’ release dates

The national release date of Rodimus for Australia is still September.
For the last 8 years, the Australian retailer BigW has had an exclusive first-release of one feature Transformers toy for their annual mid-year Toy Sale in mid-June.
This year it is the Kingdom Rodimus toy, and stores are starting to get their truckloads of Toy Sale stock... but some stores apparently didn't get the memo that certain items (including Rodimus) are not allowed to be put out until the Toy Sale starts in about 3 weeks time.
Last year, 3 or 4 BigW stores put out Skylynx as soon as they arrived on June 4th, and then the stores were instructed to remove them until the Sale started in mid June (I actually managed to grab one on the day they were accidentally put out, before they went back out to the back room for 3 weeks).
This is NOT an indication that Rodimus (or Galvatron) are being released globally right now, or even in Australia (intentionally).
It is just two accidental releases here, that is likely to get the local branch of Hasbro into a bit of trouble.

    No, not even remotely related.

It is true that they are unrelated companies, but BigW have been in a semi-professional partnership with Walmart for a few decades now... which is why they have similar buying and pricing procedures (including the odd centage in the shelf prices), similar store layout and feel, and similar marketing.
It doesn't guarantee that BigW will have Walmart exclusives, but they are the most common Australian retailer to get them.

Damn Rodimus, look how much black smoke is coming out of your pipes! Don\'t you know that that\'s bad for the environment?
Although they are in the prehistoric age so I supposr it isn\'t to big a deal. I\'m still debating with myself whether or not this is quite worth $80

all the Kingdom and Studio 86 stuff I preordered came a month or two early this year through pulse. So we could be seeing the next wave in the US by July...

The face sculpt looks like an old, very wise, moody rodimus. More of less suiting the energon Rodimus. Was they going for that aesthetic (not energon design, more personality) or am I talking out of my ass...

Honestly the release dates for these figures aren’t totally consistent for what is posted. Although that’s based on my experience when it came for waiting for my figures to be shipped out this year.

So I went to my local GS today because I wanted to make sure in person of situation with my store. Rn they are in transit for sure but he said that doesn’t necessarily mean it will be in by the end of may. I had to assure him I’m not asking for my own sake but to confirm it because he was thinking I was being impatient which felt awkward lol. Perhaps your GS employee only checked the product page, which has him at September for sure

Any idea on a ballpark estimate when we will be seeing this on the shelves here in the US?
