Such a literal shame, for this to be so close yet it overstepped so far into topping the MPM, both on size and on proportions

The back is already better to that of the MPM/LT-02/LTS-03C, though the literal gut punches would be the inner sides of the shins, sunken socket for the puny head (should've had an extra neck joint, along with a more proportional head), horrendous battle mask head, and the chest.

It could've been possible to have it sink in a little bit more onto the body, just so that it could midigate the bloated chest (basically calling it "Thunder leader Syndrome")

And of course, not to mention in underscaling the figure to MPM-3's general size, along with the mentioned "what could've been" notes stated up top.

It's very saddening to see that we couldn't get much to what we could've had, as a better, yet seemingly open alternative for an MPM Bumblebee, in which still boggles my mind as to why it was at this scale that they chose to begin with- along with some big hiccups that they left in the choice of having a few key areas to be only rectified, but not entirely giving much of a better difference all-throughout, though it's still a great upgrade to what the Studio Series offered, but I mostly hope that they will do with what was done with UT Dragoon, albeit sticking close to the whole size of the original, instead of just making it the same size to that of Blue Circus's Big bee and whatnot-

Seems like not a single reviewer has been able to get the alt mode to tab in properly. Guess it's a line wide problem then.

seems so- since the modifications seems a bit lackluster in all honesty, especially the battle mask gimmick which personally looks atrocious with that gap in the middle of the face, along with the eye slids being so far apart

along with elongated areas, plus a lazy backpack-

 

If you want a super oversized version of Bayverse Bee I'd say just get the weijiang mpm3 OS instead for $40.

I picked one up not knowing when or if we'd ever see a reissue of legendary toys mpm3 and much to my surprise the Weijiang Bee has basically perfect tolerances. He also doesn't have the lopsided tiny head/gigantic chest proportions of Mechanic Alliance. He isn't that much harder to transform either, considering mpm3 seems like one of the easier masterpieces while Studio Series 49 was one of the most complex mainline figures. He doesn't have the light up LED eyes of MA though, so it falls short of being a clean sweep.
