Even if I didn't think the CW car modes looked like extremely cheap oversized KOs of Happy Meal toys due to shoddy execution, their cartoonish proportions and oversized wheels (not inherently a bad thing on its own, Prime and Animated figures generally looked great) severely clashes with the much more realistic styling of WFC car modes:
What happy meal transformers toys are you getting? The ones I get are unpainted bricks. And while the CW guys are less "realistic" it's not as big as a clash as you're saying in my eyes, especially when most of the WFC vehicles are made to be copyright indistinct and are the wrong size for the sake of robot scale.
I daresay the mindset of the folks who did that toy was so far from the mindset of the folks currently running the line that saying "no, this absolutely will not happen" is not being too bold.
Dude, this is a non-issue. They changed his name by 1 single letter because the previous one is a slur in another country. And why does the name on the box matter? It’s your toy, you can call it whatever you want, be it Slag, Slug, Jim, Pizza the Hutt, or what have you
Everybody's all about moderate improvements on the Stunticons and Metroplex and here I am thinking about how Monstructor and Grandus and Firecons would rule.
I just imagine "Jazz" used to be called "Jizz" and then I don't mind the name change as much for Slag. It works for me, but I will still complain about it every now and then.
So BBTS has 3 Wave sets. First one is deluxe set with Gnaw and 2 secret figures. I'm assuming that's BB(SS-74) and Jolt(SS-75). Second one is voyager set with Wreck-Gar and 1 secret figure. Could be anyone tbh. And lastly, it has Leader set which comes with Slag/Slug and 1 secret figure which has got to be Grindor(SS-73). So if BBTS has those items for purchase, you can bet your ass HasTak will reveal Bayformers soon
