Got the new EX Prowl, he looks good. Took acouple of pictures next the other toy deco NewAge carbots and their WST counterparts. Hopefully NA gets to Wheeljack, Mirage and Hound soon. They were make great EX decos too.

Hi everyone, I got the H5 Maverick but unfortunately there were two left cannon in the box. Has anyone had the same problem as me and by any chance have a right cannon to swap? Thanks

 

Are these guys (including Barricade) still fairly easy to get? Been looking around and haven't really seen any shops with them still in stock. Any hopes for new runs or a V2?

 

The Datsuns are rather dated and were one of NA’s earliest molds, and a lot of people think they suffered from the “chibi” aesthetic. That being said, with NA a reissue is always an option. Some of them are available on some stores, I know EX Prowl is on like RoboToyBase? Various bluestreak repaints are not too hard/expensive to find either.

Barricade, tho, he’s vanished off the internet from what I’ve seen. Sucks because his packaging is a massive nostalgia trip haha.

I haven't checked them. I often entirely forget about them so I'll have to do that.

has anyone come up with a replacement printable chest lock for these guys yet? the torso sitting at an angle seems to cause most of the issues i have with this guy, and a tab that set the car hood to 90 degrees, and a longer neck piece would work wonders

edit: tried making a set myself, but it cant be done. you can have a torso filler, but it wont lock any more :/ ah well, still a neat toy but he def needs a V2 from Newage

 

Does anybody know how to orient Smokescreens head in car mode? He keeps dragging against the ground

I eventually had to sand him down a little "behind the ears." I lightly filed behind the crest on each side until the head was able to sink back enough to clear the ground. I think it's just inherent to the figure due to the way the new shoulders transform. They should have modified how far back the crest goes on the head of that figure.

It's not hard. Just take your time and be mindful of scuffing the sides of his head. You could also try "cutting" at them with an exacto knife, so long as you go slow and stop early so, again, you don't mark the head with blade marks (then cut from the back sideways to finish)

 

Any chances of these figures getting reissued? I missed out on the initial releases and would love to get a prowl, Bluestreak, and smokescreen for my collection

Prowl got reissued recently, least at Bombusbee, Barricade is the one I'm really hoping gets a reissue since he's literally impossible to find for anything resembling a reasonable price
