Mm finally arrived. Haven't messed with the trailer yet but the robot was easy and intuitive to transform - didn't even glance at instructions or a video or anything. Whenever I get a figure like this I can't help but wonder why XTB couldn't have done as well on their mp scaled version. I mean I like the XTB version but this one is clearly a better design. Anyway, he's great and I'm thrilled with him. Can't wait for the last two to ship. I'm probably not going to transform the trailer until I've got them.

 

YES, this thing has ruined the XTB Stunticons for me. This has everything I want ( except size). They have the similar sizing between Motormaster and the cars in robot mode ( like FT). They've got the simplicity of transformation and clean final form of DX9 and way more Menasor display options than any 3P MP scale Menasor. I know it's easier at a smaller scale but this makes me like the MP ones less.

 

Would anyone buy this if it got KOed from Legends to MP size?

Don't think anyone's ever done that before, as far as I know.

 

In the same boat here. I've lost appetite for XTB Menasor after seeing all the MS photos. I chose to skip the trailer and be content with a bot mode display

 

Anyone else having an issue with menasors feet? they won't snap together because one side has both pegs and the other both holes, and the removable pieces are not interchangeable.

 

are both sides removable? cause i can take the opposite side from one foot and move it to the other, but only one half seems to be removable.

 

Got MM in yesterday and wow, I love this guy. One of their best to date. Just got him into bot mode and doesn't seem to have the QC issues of many of their latest releases so I'm stoked about that! Bring on Drag strip and deadend the boys are waiting!!

Looking at videos Deluxe Baldwin has the same issue, but he did not notice it.

 

It is indeed the exact same problem, and fortunately it is very easily fixed once you realise that both toe pieces on each foot just slip off their mountings.

 

Yeah I've been trying that for like half an hour but the only ones that slide off are the ones on the wheel side, the other ones are not coming off. And you need to remove opposite sides to flip them.

 

This! I had the same problem and after just messing with it I was able to slide them off and switch them.

I was pretty down on MST after i received their new bumblebee but this thing has 100% renewed my confidence in the company. Motormaster is absolutely fantastic. Fun transformation without being fiddly. The Menasor body is pretty darn sweet as well and it was fairly easy to get it into gestalt mode without instructions. This thing is a homerun other than the fixable foot issue.

 

Knowing it does come off did help me remove one of them, but it took quite a bit of force, the other is still firmly in there. Will try hot water.

 

Geez you guys, all those happy stories about Motormaster and Menasor (except for the occasional feet mix-ups and stress mark)... Gonna check tracking, again..

If I didn't already have the XTB version and the quality were good, probably. But it wouldn't be simply a matter of upsizing it. You'd want more detail, MP style hands, forward/backward foot movement (I don't like when legends figures are lacking that but they're better able to get away with it because their size/weight makes then easier to balance than larger figures), etc. Basically the difference between MS Light of Justice and Light of Freedom. And I'd prefer it be MS that did the upsizing, not a KO company.
