It looks great!! Ive not got Guard Kong yet, but he seems to be pretty plentiful so im in no rush! Agreed on Saga Falcon though, it just feels incomplete

Guard Kong makes for an okay gorilla, but I dunno why mugenbine just never got apes right. Robot mode's kinda dull too. And yeah, Saga Falcon seems like it should be rad but the combined forms just feel weird. Turbo Animal and Arch Tiger make up for it, but it's no shock the engine guys didn't stick around (even if they go with the weapon guys, which are all cool)

His parts seem relatively useful but yeah, neither mode really excites me! I dont really know what they were going for with saga falcon, it almost seems like something got cut from concept to development.

I definately feel like the Mugen and Turbo roids are more useful than the engine parts, but it seems like a fun line to experiment with! I won the animal force, is the elephant head just a retool of power noses?

    Same concept, different parts. Congrats!

Can anyone give me the link to the official Mugen Saga Website? I've been digging for a couple of hours now and I can't find it.

Started to collect mugenbine again. Got a bunch of parts off of Facebook Marketplace late last year. I think I'm missing 3 or 4 from the Alphabet line.

Man, speaking of people not knowing how to price Mugenbine... Immediately Machine Robo Novelty Parts Of Mugenbein Bags Mugenbine | eBay
Ebay's actually kinda lousy for mugenbine prices at the moment. There was a super nice dude who went by jspook on there, but he hasn't really sold anything since Covid. I hope he's doing well! We talked a few times, and he just seemed like someone who wanted to make a little honest side cash. Prices and shipping were always fair. I hope he comes back so we stop seeing stuff like $300 mugen weapons. -_-

Alphabet is a great line. That and Build Gattai probably have the best stand-alone figures. Saga was always more about the gestalts, IMO.

Had these guys turn up! Love them all aside from Mach Ptera and Save Gunman having the wrong roids. Victory Leons especially good!! Also caved on almost a full set of sealed Mugen Heroes for 500 yen, are they any good for parts at least??

I mean, a full set for ~$5 is worth it to me, if not only from a collector perspective. There are parts you can use, and the torso frames might be good for bigger gestalts. The little weapon guys probably work well on bigger combined designs, too.

Uuuuugh so there was this super amazing lot on yahoo auction and I couldn’t justify bidding on it because it was just too big.

Also now there’s this lot, that I want but it’s hard to tell what’s in it

Edit: Found the lot, not sure if I'd be willing to pay that much, but man it was a good(ish) deal

I dunno, for what's in that second lot, $250 doesn't seem that bad. It's like ~10 per figure in the lot, which is solid no matter how you slice it.

Not gonna deny that it was probably worth it, but I still gotta save money for a bit.

I'll let other people take first crack since I've got most of what you're showing here, but I'll prolly hit ya up about a few. :D

For anyone else curious - I've purchased stuff from Cloudraker a few times when he lived in my area. He's legit and a good dude!

    Okay I've messaged Cloudraker.

What do you all think of this lot btw? What would you say is a good price to go for it at? I'm really tempted by it due to it having the three musketeers in both colors, but I'm unsure if they're complete so it's a rough choice to make.

If you're unsure, prolly not a bad idea to wait. If it stays at like... that low and you just want a bunch of parts to build big nutty gestalts, might be worth it. I don't see a ton of clearly complete rare stuff in there, tho.

Got it! I was hoping I could get both sets of 3 musketeers from it, but it looks like they're incomplete which sucks. I hope I can get em one day.

Haha, I got the recolor set with the little lion robot, but I didn't notice in the pics it was missing one the shurikens. Be careful, for sure. It's not worth having to try to hunt down a set like that TWICE.
