Oh man, now i've really want to see them handle Movie 1 Evac from that Leader Blackout mold. I know it's a freakin' Movie/Show accurate focused line, but damn it that the movie adaptations would bring in some interesting stuff for the line.

 

Even if Bulldog had a non-zero chance of being made, Hasbro will never be able to beat the Toyworld one. Like, literally, there is no way to sell a voyager or even leader class toy of that design that will have the paint job of Toyword's. It's absolutely sublime. The whole figure is, really. And you're paying for what you get.

(He's not gonna be made regardless, though, because there simply isn't a standard retail market for a transformer that turns into a British Mark IV from WWI. It's the definition of niche.)

 

If a Studio Series HMS Alliance is made this is probably what he or she would look like.

This movie was an even bigger disappointment than I thought.

 

Off-topic but that was a pretty damn good figure.

I'm not even into Movie toys but HftD Sea Spray has such an appealing design that I just had to get it.

 

Problem is, Grindor needs a whole new backbone and tailgroup for his altmode, along with deleting the Pave Low radar \"chin\"--the three-engine S-80 Super Stallion and two-engine S-65 in Pave Low form only have commonality from the cockpit bulkhead to the front of the windshield.

 

I somehow have a complete Deep Dive (don't even remember how I got it... likely from a Ross), and even though he's a bit kibbly and lacks a waist swivel, he still stands up pretty well, and the fact that THIS is the Bayverse Seaspray makes me like it more.

...Now if only Bodyblock wasn't cancelled so we could have a double pairing with Deep Dive.

It's a shame how bad they've gotten when it comes to doing weathering on figures because back then they used to be really good at that sort of thing. When we got figures like Armada Galvatron the weathering was extremely well done on that figure. Meanwhile with Grindor It just looks like a child just scribbled all over that figure with a brown paint marker.
