So Transformers fans, the real fans of the whole franchise (yes, I'm using the term "real fan") and not the ones who only want one part of the brand and want to be rid of everything else, have gained half of the regular Generations line but lost almost the entirety of Studio Series? I'm seriously questioning why I'm still a still a Transformers fan.

What I've just written above explains most of it, but the fact that there's still so many prominent Bayformers characters left that's really twisting the knife. How many obscure AF G1 characters have been made recently, yet we can't even get the main characters of TF4?

 

There isn't per say hatred for 86 or G1, amazingly. It's just the trilogy casts need like 3 or 4 people to be done, they are in planning and...are pushed back another year and a half to accommodate 86 and BB opening. We're so close, please just finish the job.

 

People can rant about the lack of SS Bayverse and anything else about the most recent FFF, while I'm still here waiting.... waiting for the very day that the Armada/Micron Legend cast finally get the updated toy lineup they deserve...



But at this point, I won't be surprised if the fantastic-looking LG-EX Micron Legend Convoy was already been scrapped and cancelled (Which would be a massive disappointment), just like the eventual fate of Bandai's MG Gundam AGE-FX...

 

I'm sorry to say, but Armada isn't in the "nostalgia cycle" yet, so you're not allowed to get any updates.

 

Question with Junkheap; could a group of three deluxe-ish figures fit in a Leader Price Point so they can combine into the garbage truck? I once had a transformation in my head for them but lost the post.

 

Don't worry, fans of everything else can share half of the upcoming trilogy among aaaalllll the different versions of the brand. The other half is still exclusively G1, though.

 

Speaking of Studio Series, I wonder if Lio Convoy and company could be released as part of the line considering they did appear in a movie (a Japan only movie but a movie nonetheless).

 

When only G1 stuff gets revealed instead of BW or Bayverse:

You people need to understand that whatever character you want from a cartoon that aired on major television or a blockbuster hollywood movie is TOO obscure and not worth it for Hasbro.

Unlike the 50 dollar Doubledealer, or Spinister, or the Titan-class Scorponok retool that is only recognizable to people that browse tfwiki

 

It's almost like there's no Movie toys because there's no movie production happening due to some kind of global castatrophe or something . . .

Oh, and there were definitely no leaks or computer listings for new movie stuff. Nope. Not at all.

 

SS Having G1 and BB movie stuff is fantastic, love that.

Almost makes up for Hasbro giving Prime updates before Armada. Almost.

 

We are about to get a -second- line of Stunticons that will surely snowball into more re-done combiners while the Movie line has had apparently finished product moved back so that they can release before those toys based on the G1 reference cameos from the Bee movie that had seconds of screentime and don't even have designed alt modes. That argument doesn't really work.

 

I'm sad there's no Artfire reveal; I really got my hopes up for it. Oh well, I will wait a bit longer (maybe this coming Tuesday?).

I'm not a bayverse fan at all, but man, you guys get the short end of the stick. Hopefully you all get something soon.
