Isn't Powerglide a plane bot who is smaller than a car bot?
And if you say he isn't a plane bot, but a mini bot, then I would say Fuzz is not a car bot, but a Protectobot, so Protectobots do not need to be car bot sized.

 

I must have done something wrong.. My Hound and Streetwise are almost the same size. I have to check it out after work. Looks like Hounds feets are mistransformed.

 

I think the problem is Sunbow changed the scale of the Autobots in Season Two, whereas TT decided to go with the scale of the Autobot cars in comparison to Prime in Season One. If you'll notice, in Season One, most of the Autobot cars came up to about slightly above Prime's waist, with Trailbreaker, Ironhide and Ratchet being the exceptions, each of them coming up to Prime's shoulders.


In Season Two, that changed. Trailbreaker, Ironhide and Ratchet stayed the same, but Sunbow scaled the Autobot cars up a bit more, to almost his shoulders. So, when the Stunticons were introduced, they were scaled with the new size of the Autobots. Seems like FT and DX9 decided to go with that scale, as opposed to scaling their figures with TT.

 

FT's Roadking hasn't the same size as TT Optimus Prime or Megatron like in the cartoons. So yes, FTs and DX9 stunticons are possibly too big. But I like them more than the XTB stunticons. These are too small for me and also a bit poor of quality. On the other side I like the Streetwise scale and his Botmode. It's a little taller than the other TT Autobots that's fine. My problem is that it's smaller than MMC's Fraudo. But maybe Fraudo is also too big... Hopefully Blades and First Aid are ironhide / trailbreaker height.

And now I want to know when the next Protectobot is coming.

This is really it. Like, yeah, there was a general rule that the autobot cars were a smaller size than the decepticon jets, but combiners, much like minibots, were never a part of that equation. Combiner components were never even remotely scaled based on their alt modes, they were scaled based on their role in the combined mode (as in, typically you'd have a Prime-sized core bot who'd be about a head taller than the limb bots, regardless of the team).

 

the stunticons were created, first and foremost, as an answer to the autobots cars and prime himself. The inference in the show was that they were the exact same size and scale as prime and the autobots cars.
This is shown IN DETAIL in the episode where they masquerade as the autobots.

i thin xtransbots did a great job with scaling the stunticons. They were the only ones to get it right!
