Anyways I feel like the next few years are going to be extremely great for transformers fans. Next year we have the bumblebee sequel, the Nickelodeon show that sounds pretty good so far, and the evolution/legacy toyline. In 2023 we have this movie and the fan made TLK sequel, and the year after (maybe) we have the angel manuel Soto film. I’m pretty excited for the next few years.

People have been crapping on this idea, but I wouldn't mind seeing the loop closed with regard to addressing the missing Autobots that were shown once and vanished, never to be seen again. We're supposed to assume that the majority of the miscellaneous bots (Huffer, Gears, Hound, Sunstreaker, etc.) were KIA offscreen, but it would be kind of cool to see what happened to them and/or how they met their demise. Additionally, it would be cool to see what happened with Skyfire, Trailbreaker, Mirage and other bots that got no screen time in the film, not to mention the Decepticons that were not shown and assumed to be killed offscreen.

I'm not a fan of the "break it up into two movies," but a 45 minute short for the above would be compelling enough to somewhat bridge the gap, kind of like what Rogue One did for Star Wars. While not absolutely necessary, it would be cool to watch everything play out and connect the dots onscreen.

People are pooping on this idea but..... For the fans that I know that's the only movie that gets repeated viewings. There's something special about it. Why not lean into, like how they've been leaning in on the toys.

It's not like the entire community is dying to know the whereabouts of least known G1 characters, who add no substance to the main plot. Unlike the theft of the Death Star plans from Rogue One, which was an integral part of A New Hope

Well, it's not like the entire Star Wars community was clamoring for Rogue One, and while it wasn't essential viewing, the journey was cool to see, just like the plight of the fallen Autobots... and it wouldn't be too hard to shoehorn in a subplot of how the aforementioned bots, in concert with Prime's sacrifice helped to turn the tide in other areas of Autobot city.

Star Wars is on an entire different league than Transformers. That's why they could go ahead to explain the theft of the Death Star plans in a spin off movie, and the movie was watchable for casual audiences. And since most people have seen ANH, they have some semblance of what the plot is about

Ideally it'd be nice to see them bring back Peter Cullen and Frank Welker and give them more to work with (and better recording conditions than Cullen had for Bumblebee).

If it's supposed to be a prequel it would provide a good excuse to bring back Dylan O'Brien for 'Bee.

Star Wars cemented the initial story first and then kept adding to it with new movies with great success. Transformers has been all over the place with different stories that don't link together, so what Transformers needs to do to have success like Star Wars is cement down the main story first, ignore all the confusing stuff, then add to the story with new shows and movies that link together AFTER that. Otherwise it will always be a cluster f**k.

It's supposedly releasing in 2023. Give it some time.

No, it's still coming possibly in 2023 and no way like ROTB is this getting canned since they're already to far to stop and the money has been spent/ or at least most of it.

Hopefully we get some news next year.

Out of the three movies we’ve got in the pipeline, this is the one I’m looking forward to the most.

The director himself said the movie is still going along as scheduled.

Somewhere in the abyss known as the "Rise of the beasts set photos, leaks, and interviews thread" someone posted a pic from twitter with someone asking the director, and the director replied with the Optimus thumbs up gif.

Still vague if it’s a thumbs up for it still happening, or for it coming 2023.
