I hope they or somebody does an oversized Studio Cell variant someday. One that can stand shoulder to shoulder with haslab. He definitely looks better, but is so tiny!

 

I'd love to see it happen, purely to sit down with a keg and watch people struggle transforming it. It just would not work at that size, not without some significant modifications to make the conversion more user friendly.

The gray is too dark.

My preference: gray > light blue > dark gray

I posted a while ago an image I found floating somewhere, but it was a garbage rumor mill and a badly edited photo, as it appears.

 

Looks like the Orange is more intense too.

 

Very happy with what I have and not interested in a repaint. If they decided to upsize it a bit I'd be interested...until I see the $$$ LOL! I'd love if they would make some sort of "accessory pack" with some miniature ships, a planet, moon, articulated mouthpiece for planet mode...a battle damaged he would be cool.  

 

I would be interested in accessories for cell or even the Haslab Unicron.

Oh, they really are making a repaint! At first I thought those new pictures were photoshops, but it looks like some small details are different, like transparent clip pieces on his shoulders.

Happy for all the people who were asking for that colour scheme. The original colours are perfect for me, but always good to have options!

Wish they'd made some retools to get the head, face, and chest more screen accurate while they were at it. Not like it'd affect the transformation. That face sculpt still bugs me.

 

Agree! Would be cool if they gave his face a more toon look and made some panels asymmetrical.

 

I usually like more of the serious looking colours of greys and silvers and such, but the repaint looks like the colour pallette has really narrowed and makes me prefer the wider assortment of colours on the original. His face also looks very dark on the repaint.

 

The orange on the new deco is MUCH better.

However, they need to add some silver paint to the chest and hip skirts IMO. The grey everywhere is just drab.
