Both pleased and annoyed af about the prospect of a Hot Rod variant, now that the mold’s been depreciated, I guess this means they’ll redo it without those ugly yellow hinges??   Even though I bought 3 of the first round version, I’d be 1000% on board for that. What I definitely don’t want/need personally would be a toy color version—never liked the red boots or the weird “arrow” design stickers myself.

 

SDCC is planning to do an in person "Special Edition" of the con in November, too.

 

I'm curious to know what will happen July 23-25. Hopefully we will see those exclusives then. I also recently heard of 3 Star Wars exclusives coming.

Great to see Blaster coming. Between WfC Trilogy and SS86 we now have rumors of updates to almost all of the 86 movie cast coming (except for Blitzwing, who remains in the "hope for" category and the Insecticons that are a whole group themselves). Bit surprised to hear of Blaster coming with a tape, figured they would do his main four in a deluxe priced set. But as long as they all get done...

Blaster will be neat, but I really need to see if we get his tapes in the same scale as Soundwave's before I truly get hyped. They're cool characters in their own right, but a truly great Soundwave/Blaster has the majority of their cassettes available. We're most of the way there with Soundwave, so I'm hoping Blaster's cassettes will get filled out (and maybe even used as a way of finally getting us Buzzsaw) as well over Kingdom and the next line, whatever it is.

 

I plan on getting Blaster, but I’m more excited for Twincast and all the cassettes for both of them.

I hope we get a Flip Sides!

 

There’s isn’t a scale guide for RED. They’re all roughy 6’ figures. Look at the bumblebee figure.
