Alright, yes, the bullets on both covers are wrong. You win. But the new cover making the same "mistake" as the old cover is the point of an homage. It's not trying to be realistic, it's trying to emulate the 90s grittiness of the G2 cover. Seriously, this isn't something to get worked up over.

i make one statement and have to clarify to more than one of you that i know it's an homage but it's still dumb and i'm the one getting worked up over it...if it's not worth getting over it why are you like the fourth or fifth person quoting me to defend what i already knew and stated so from my very first post?

 

yes i think any art that depicts something that fundamentally wrong is bad. the art in a whole may not be bad but that specific section? yea that's bad.

 

You heard it here first, folks. The anatomy is wrong, so Picasso's art is automatically bad. Stylization is no more.

You sure are, and I'm not saying you should like it. I'm not frowning upon your personal opinion and I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just saying that thinking something is bad because it doesn't look "real" is kind of a weird standard to have. Hyperrealism isn't the only art genre out there. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ You're free to like what you like, but I'm also free to express my opinions on your stance.

 

i didn't even say that i don't like something because it doesn't look real. all i said was bullets don't work that way. that it was bad TO ME because it's unfired bullets jammed in a head and it looks stupid. at most i was mocking it but you guys took it to a new level. you may think realism in art is a weird standard to have but it's really not...proportions are important. a lot of people don't like the anime styled art or hyperstylized or exaggerated art because it looks too cartoony or doesn't look realistic enough.

again art is subjective and anyone is allowed to have whatever standard they want towards it. i don't have a problem having a discussion about it. i don't have a problem with your opinion on mine. i have a problem with asserting that i'm wrong and being sarcastic about what i'm saying like i'm not allowed to have a problem with art..picasso or not.

Hey mate, all good but this isn't the case.

If you look at it, in most scenarios you have the artist in one country, colourist in another, writer in a third and editor somewhere else... so they are already working in a scenario where everything is done online, in isolation.

 

Grimlock in a Medieval Fantasy world and a return to Shattered Glass(albeit a clean slate)?!
