I think this is a Dream that will never happen. If they add Compressor Leg / Hip Parts (The Grey Parts that are breaking).

    Devil Saviour would say:

"hmm if we add these Parts, Collectors would have to disassamble the entire lower Body to install these Parts"

In Fact you would have indeed remove all Screws around the upper Legs to Switch it for new Grey Joints.

I could believe that Devil Saviour thinks
that is to much work for all buyers of Compressor.

I could also believe that Devil Saviour would rather not have to constantly manufacture replacement parts and have their reputation go through the dirt over this.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone who requested replacement parts for Compressor received them yet?

I had requested multiple replacement parts for Compressor, through the eBay seller I bought it from, on April 10th.
I needed a couple of miscellaneous replacement parts for the stripped screws I had on one of the legs, and then shortly after also requested replacements for both of my hips.
Not sure when exactly the seller requested the parts, but I got word from them just the other day now that they have only received some of my requested replacement parts from the factory so far.

I don't know if that really indicates anything, but I suppose if no one else has gotten replacement parts yet for Compressor it might indicate that they really are taking the extra time to do something about the hips.

@cfighter nothing and here's hoping...I was so depressed when his hips just melted in my hands.

Same. I've really been wanting to mess around with the figure this past month cause the transformation is pretty fun and it's a beautiful sculpt. But alas, it's been sitting on a shelf in pieces virtually since the day I got it.

I just got my Giant Axe and Compressor figures.

Am currently attempting to learn how to transform Giant Axe. It seems pretty intuitive for the most part, but one thing is giving me difficulty. The instructions say to position the slider at the base of the wheels in the H position, but the semicircular clips on the caterpillar treads don't line up with the mount unless it's in the V position. am I doing something wrong?

In addition, one of the guard rail pieces that had to be attached when I opened the box comes out of its mounting very easily and I'm worried that it's going to break.

edit: nevermind, found a ratchet joint that I missed.

Edit2: I think I broke the tread pieces

Edit3: yeah, they're broken. I didn't have the wheel base lined up correctly and overstressed them. I've called TFSource and left a voicemail, so hopefully they'll let me exchange it.

In other news, I tried to open the hip assembly of Compressor, not realizing that I had to remove the pin before unscrewing it. fortunately nothing broke on this one yet.

Compressor itself is a very fun figure to play with, but I haven't attempted to use the hip ratchets simply on the grounds that I don't want it to break before I have a chance to try to combine it with the others.

Very excited to know if TFSource gives you a fresh new Figure! Because from Point of View, you broke the Figure by yourself. Let us know if you get a New one.

That is the Reason I always tell People:
DO NOT use the Instruction Sheets.
    Use Youtube. PrimeVSPrime explains
every little Step. Just watch, pause the Video, make that step as he does, watch further. Most Problems and Breakage Issues solved.

I do not even dare to touch my
TFC, Cang Toys and Devil Saviour Figures
without running an EmGo or PrimeVSPrime Video on my Television, sitting in Front of it, and follow every step.

Most of these Videos avoid MANY
Stress Marks. Did not have a single Stress Mark on my TFC Abominus Figures, thanks to these Videos.

Because Breakage Chances are very high, if you make the smallest Mistake during these Transformations.

I did use a stop-motion video as a reference for how to position them. unfortunately even the video wasn't very clear on how to position it properly and the step in question lasted less than a second.

TFSource's customer care guy was very colloquial on the phone and implied that they might be willing to send me a return slip, but he had to forward the issue to another person, who sent me an email asking for pics, which I have since sent them.

I've attached said pics to this post as well. The first pic shows the semicircular clip on the inside face of the left tread and the axel onto which it's supposed to attach, and the second and third images show what happened as a result of leaving it clipped in place for an hour. The left side is worse than the right, but in both cases the weight of the hinged tread is continuing to put stress on the damaged plastic and every time I move it it feels closer to breaking off completely. As you can see, it's not repairable.

What exactly is broken? Sorry I'm having a hard time seeing the issue from the last two images.

I ask because my Giant Axe also had something very minor break off due to the semicircular clip trying to attach to the axel like you point out in the first image. But for my figure, the only thing that broke off was the end cap on the axel - the tolerances on my figure are slightly off and the pressure of trying to clip both circular clips onto the axel stripped out the single screw that holds either of the axel's end caps in place. Again, it's thankfully not a big deal for me as I can just permanently bond the end cap back onto the axel with some epoxy or something. But it might be worth knowing for your case as your figure also might have an issue with tolerances on that particular connection point, which would mean that it breaking wasn't at all your fault.

If you look closely, you can see a crack in the thinner part of the tread, about one centimeter or so from the hinge, on the side of the hole that the wheel slots into. It's easier to see in the third image, next to the "L".

Can't really tell from the video. Slightly disappointing to see that the pieces are still plastic and that they still recommend using the original spring. We can only hope that they either are using a stronger plastic material for these pieces or that they found some error with the original pieces and have corrected it with these (I know some people have been mentioning that they might have seen cracks in the original hip joints right out of the box).

What is great to hear is that the description for the video on the FB page states that these parts will be included in all DS07 boxes. So I think that finally answers why they've been radio silent for a hot minute and that we should now be expecting DS07 to start shipping out soon.

Praise the Sun! Very excited to see that there was indeed an alteration made to the replacement hips.

Yeah, it's great that they made this. (although I was pretty sure that they would a few months ago, since joint replacement parts aren't really that rare in 3p combiners)

I'd still recommend trying a replacement spring tho. I'm still not confident about the resistance/stiffness of the original spring in the hip assembly.

I have to decide whether to perform surgery when I get the parts or leave well enough alone. Mine hasn't broken (so far!) y'see. Hopefully this means DS-07 is getting released very soon.

In those cases, it's just best to keep the new parts aside until the originals break.
