After receiving a digital-only release in 2018, Dario Marianelli’s Bumblebee score has received a limited edition CD release from La-La Land Records. This is the first time that the score has ever been released physically, and you can order your copy (one of only 2,000 available) here. For those keeping score (see what I did there?), the only Transformers film to not have its soundtrack receive a physical release is Dark of the Moon. Here’s hoping that La-La Land Records comes through for that score in the near future.
I made my own Bumblebee CD by burning the songs onto a blank CD (don't worry, I bought the files legally off of Amazon). Still, it's neat that they're finally releasing a physical copy. Edit: Just realized this is for the score, not the soundtrack. While I enjoyed the score I don't feel much of a need to own it.
I had always hoped for a vinyl version of the soundtrack with songs on it. This got me excited until I noticed it was for the score.
Gah, I don’t need a physical copy of this (burned it to cd via Amazon Prime and RCA cables, for free), but this reminds me of the days of trying to get the TF1 Score on CD. Shit was visceral!
Yes, both released through La-La Land Records. Steve Jablonsky signed some of the early copies of the AOE CD, too, and I was lucky enough to get one of those. TLK had a two-disc CD release that is still available to purchase on their website.
Until they purge the Micheal Bay face and style of Bumblebee these movies will be linked to the Bayverse.

Dear Paramount, Hasbro, and La-La Land Records.... I fixed your product and marketing materials...Feel free to hire me as a future copy editor, since someone couldn't be bothered to get their facts correct or use this new fangled tool called "Google" Annnd one more for good measure...
I would assume La-La Land Records wouldn't know the nuance of the whole reboot thing with Bumblebee. They would just be creating their description based on what they were initially told when the film was being made.
Yeah, this. But let's not kid ourselves for a moment that it won't be enough to stoke the fires for those desperately hoping the Bay universe is still ongoing. My gut reaction when reading that little tidbit was a sinking feeling of, "here we go again." Look for this "official source" to be quoted for months to come as support for the Bayverse continuing.
Or come up with something new? I'm not sure why this has to be such a binary thing. It shouldn't be G1 vs. Bay it should be "we'd like good stories with relatable characters," vs. sloppy, horrible writing. And Bayverse is not the soul proprietor of that. The Netflix cartoon certainly would hold its own in a slug fest over bad characterization. The characters there seem to either be throw-away, or detestable, and not in the "love to hate" way, but in the, "why would they bother" way.
Somebody is really bitter about the end of what has definitely been a net negative for the franchise in the long run, as was predicted when the quality and accuracy was so poor. When there is nothing to be excited about except some action, you don't have anything special. TF is popular because of what it is, not because of what it should be. Time for movies that embrace TF, not something else but just with TF branding. Time for quality cinema - not tropes, cliches, stereotypes, and poor planning. We are here. We are waiting.
