I won’t argue on that last part. MPMs have been VERY hit or miss. Well, not “miss” but do some things that hold them back. Like MPM4 could’ve been better if the abdominal area wasn’t so big, and if it was painted. But Black Apple covered that. But here with MPM-12? They said “fuck it” and made their $120 figure worse engineered than their $30 figure.

The MPM-12 pages from Generations 2021. Sorry for the crappy quality. I think he looks pretty good in these images.

Yep, I'm definitely getting em. He looks beautiful. Really the only major problem I have is the inaccurate truck and the cat ears, but other than that I think he's going to be a fun figure to mess with!

Aside from the cat ears they REALLY gotta do something about that head. The angles of his helmet above his eyes makes him look depressed as hell.

xD I get what you mean, but I think that's more of the design of the head than a mistake. Maybe if the silver "brows" were painted it'll look better.

so are his windows tinted blue or smoked/brown? seems to go back and forth. those mag scans look really good. the cat ears in truck mode obivously bothers me but the bot mode is looking pretty good despite some issues (helmut shape is wrong near the antennae) and i even kinda like the alt mode kibble under his forearms....it reminds you what you're looking at. its not accurate but doesn't bug me in the least. kinda cleans up the underside of the forearm actually. hope someone makes an adapter for the mp-10 trailer though. lol

Is it having it now vs. August that makes the additional $30-$40 price tag worth it compared to Target?

Thank you for posting that link!

Wow, this time the price was a lot better. Ratchet was around $40 CAD more for me from AJ. The Yen going down helps a bit but it seems like this is a better price to begin with or a better AJ discount.

Anyway it only costs $1 more than Toys R Us in Canada shipped for me. Usually the TT versions are more. I prefer the TT versions because my experience has been slightly better QC with them than the Hasbro versions. My theory is that it's because the TT copies are made after the Hasbro copies and the factory has more practice by then. :)

For me in Canada they are the same price. And the TT version is not available until October so around 2 months after it's due at Target and TRU.

These images make me think there are not 2 versions (TT on AJP, vs Hasbro on TRU/Target), but only one version. Do we have any confirmation on if there will be 2 or 1 versions?

It's always one version for MPM that is supposed to be the same for Hasbro and TT, but in my experience the TT is sometimes slightly better quality because they are made after the Hasbro copies in the factory. But that is not always the case for sure. For me, if I can get the TT version for around the same price or cheaper I'll always go for the TT version. For some MPMs I actually bought the TT version for MUCH cheaper than the Hasbro version, like MPM-8 for example. It depends on if AJ has extra stock and puts it on sale. In this case it is costing me only $1 more to get the TT version so I'm going for it. I will have to wait 2 months longer to get it, but I'm old and patient.
