I hope they realize that people were already getting sick of the drawn out bromance between Prof. X and Magneto in the last few Foxmen films. So the likely idea of Orion Pax running around simping a young and bitter Megatron until he becomes Optimus Prime isn't something I feel like reading, hearing or watching again. Especially if it's Bay-verse lore.

There's something special about the 86 movie that keeps fans coming back to it, Also it established many of the common Transformers themes. And the animation is mostly terrible.

A animated movie universe and a live action one at the same time? Well, if Sony can make Spiderverse and Spiderman at the same time then why not.

Yeah, if I wanted to see the '86 film again, well, I'll just watch the '86 film. I want something original. Ideally, something to wash off the bitter taste of Netflix's version of the Cybertron story.

Nah, it definitely won't be in the Bayverse.

It also establishes many of the tropes in Transformers people are sick of. And it isn't exactly a well written movie. It's called a "cult-classic" for a reason.

Asking for this makes about as much sense as a two-part sequel to The Last Knight.

Exactly. If I wanted to watch the ‘86 movie, I could watch it on Amazon. The ‘86 film has been held in high esteem by fans for 35 years so it’s weird that they suddenly have major issues with it and want it redone.

Thank God, too. As much as I like Bayformers, TLK killed it. Let it rest after Studio Series is through with it.

At this point, Hasbro and Paramount need to put a disclaimer at the bottom of their TF trailers and movie posters “This is not a Michael Bay film” lmao.

"The Bayverse is finished, get over it and move on."

    2 seconds later...

"Lets make the G1 movie again! And then have another series and toyline replicating MTMTE parts 1-3 for the 5th time in 2 months."

Depending on the budget, I'd prefer they just make that into a direct to Netflix or video movie. DC animated movies have been ruling this trade for more than a decade now.

Oh great, causing more confusion on purpose by using the TLK image....

FFS stop using bayverse images for stories in no way related to bayverse.

Here's your Transformers movie with no humans, bro.

in before there will be animated human characters in the animated Transformers movie for the mass audience to "relate to" in the "story".

So.... here\'s a garentee it\'s a humanless movie and people are now saying just remaster the \'86 movie?  This my friends really shows y\'all want the same story over and over while saying See haven\'t seen anything new in years. Also remember there\'s humans in the\'86 movie and I thought most if you despise humans now? Anyway, I\'m surprised it\'s a 2023 release since I remember the director saying animated movies can be worked on from home.

Exactly. I love TF:TM. heck I even enjoy the lesser known TF Animated films (BWII Lio Convoy in imminent Danger, and TF Prime Predacons Rising). So I'm always up for an animated film.

Rather than all these random awful series Hasbro has been cranking out since Prime ended, why not follow the DC model. Give us 2 direct-to-home media Animated films per year. (DC does 3-4, but I'll give Hasbro some slack) They can come from every aspect of both written and animated lore form the past almost 40 years. a Sunbow universe film, a Marvel UK film, a BW film, a RiD film (I'd love that!), a Unicron Trilogy film, something from DW (I'd love this too), IDW etc.... the potential is endless.

The only caveat I'd throw in also is this... The DC films were pretty good until around 5 years ago, when they decided to make most of them R rated. Speaking as an adult in my 40's, I don't need that in my Transformers. PG-13 is fine, even PG is good (TF:TM was rated PG after all).

All that being said, I'm looking forward to this film, though we know little about it, Transformers was made for Animation, and always looks better there IMHO than in live action.

Here's hoping the Transformers Animated Movie turns out to be good. I have confidence in it, given the director behind the project.

Sidenote, I don't know how one can adapt Monopoly into a film. Here's hoping the team is successful with creating it.

I really really really really really have doubts that the general audience is interested in a movie based on the hackey """"lore"""" Hasbro came up with for the Aligned bible. Feels weird to make a big budget film based on a content that only hardcore nerds are familiar with and one that said hardcore nerds don't even hold in great esteem either considering how weak the writing in those books were.

But who knows, maybe this director will find a way to twist it in a way that is actualy fun and interesting.

I rather see something new and fresh. Waiting two years for a 1986 movie redo? No thanks.
