Ah, the red Diaclone version will get my attention as it has all the weapons from the original toy and the cool bike! And, the minifig is a nice bonus too. I do have X-Transbots Savant, so this would be a nice addition to my Diaclone team.

 

The KP weren't busty far as I can recall.

Yup. Goes to show how just hearing about but not actually reading/watching the series influences the biases as well as not understanding the context of the series has given KP a really bad rep. Most I can accuse it of is, well. the author/ artist has too much OCD emphasis on toy mech details and going over moe. For this, over moe, KP is regarded as synonymous with the "P" word by one over bearing knowitall from ANOTHER TF site (not here at tfw2005 as far as I know) yet a certain live action movie on a certain streaming site (which also has been airing the recent TF anime) which also has the same visual look and supposed age of KP (KP are actually of the adult age) is regarded as art.

My god I just found out about this. Totally getting Skids. The Honda City Turbo (Well, the '83 City Turbo II specifically) is my dream car. Total bummer Skids isn't coming with the Motocompo though! Such an integral part of the Honda City/Turbo experience!

So now that we've seen the accessories that come with Crosscut, and we see he's missing the driver figure, and we know Reboost's designer Mitsuhito Ohno owned a red Honda City in the '80s, I now theorize that the driver figure included here is indeed intended to be a minifigure of Ohno himself.

 

So you are saying this will someday be worth .... 1 million dollars  

 

I don't know about that, but I do know that from now on Ohno will be insufferable in designers' meetings... when they ask him a question he'll pull out that minifigure and say "Mini-Me, what do YOU think?"

I got an email that Reboost (or “Ribbed Rest”  ) got delayed but I don’t remember what the date was before..

 

They just adjusted the shipping date to match the official release date(last Saturday of the month)
