I'm thinking Kobayashi has probably transitioned to something similar to what he had before he was brought back and Ono is the lead designer now. This is the 2nd Ono interview we have gotten this one introducing him to the MP line. The hallmark of the Kobayashi run was we never knew who made what or who was doing an interview. I know in the Skids interview he mentioned that his boss said why not release both so there's definitely someone he answers too, he just gets the call on what and how its made now I do think Arcee was kobayashi's last hurrah as lead designer seems like every couple of years they cycle them out, probably to keep things fresh and them from burning out. It was nice to see the KISS guy was still there, as I think he's been instrumental in them nailing the more organic/dynamic aspects of the newer designs. I'm excited to see the Ono era , he has more than paid his dues, if Kobayashi is the father of the MP line, ono is the grandfather of the transformers line.
