this guy came yesterday. Don’t have time to dig through the trailer/command center and other parts but just had to put together the robot and pose him with Optimus.
Battle Convoy V-Max is one of the coolest transforming robot toys I've ever had the pleasure to handle. I love it so much. Question for those who may know: are there any smaller cockpits? I'd like something more nondescript to plug into Max-02, that also would not add too much junk to Convoy's *ahem* trunk in bot mode, basically a way to give him a completely non-partsforming transformation. I feel like it still needs something there, as if I just leave it empty in combined truck mode it looks like the red part is just sitting on a crotch.
The jet pack from Versriser 01 looks so good on this guy. With the hinge it has....he even has a vtol mode. Love it.
Agreed, that does look cool. But I can't help but like the Shadow version of the riser better, even if the colours don't match as well
The more I look at these guys the more hyped I am. DA-77 ダイアクロン PS/202X ＜Aタイプ&Bタイプ＞セット｜ダイアクロン オフィシャルサイト｜タカラトミー The red ones show pure vintage love. And the white ones, they just scream assist for white Cosmo and Moon sets, much more than the original D-types. It just has more of a space feel about it... I could also easily see a repaint of this as an aquatic type with some type of propeller attachments. Underwater is a theme I've felt they really needed to explore more. (I know MFT did a Diaclone compatible sub as one of their first original designs, but it was unappealing, at least to me...) LOL... Getting V-Max, hopefully tomorrow, and I'm sitting here dreaming about these Powered Suits in the fall.
LOL ain’t that the way. I’m looking forward for one release and as soon as I receive it.... I forget about it and I dream about the next one. It’s like knowing you’re gonna get one is more exciting than having one...
I'm still hyped for my V-Max trailer bases, which was my appeal originally, but I've been looking at everyone's bots for almost 2 months. lol On the flip side, I keep seeing most folks trying to make theirs look more like Prime. I'll probably be trying the opposite... But the bases, those are going to be fun! Right now, I'm thinking one is for management and human resources and the other is field upgrades, repairs, and deployment. I'm sure working tomorrow will be tough as I'm waiting for delivery and then waiting to get off work to play!
Nothing special. I just like having two of the trailer sets. Makes me wish I had the original BP and Destroyer instead of just IMS so I could create a huge land train.
Agreed. It shouldn't bug me... it's your toy, do what you please.... but it does bug me. It shouldn't... but it does.V-Max is not optimus prime and it's not supposed to be optimus prime. I'm joking but at the same time serious... :|
