I'm gonna be honest I don't see that as feasible. Maybe if there was just a rumor of just Bulkhead, but with the confirmation of a Prime version of Optimus, it just doesn't seem right. And even if it is frankly that's such weird thinking to start doing Prime versions of characters but not keep aesthetics for them

Well the choice to keep doing characters in the Generations aesthetic came straight out of mouth of the lead designer at Hasbro during the Pulsecon livestream. So it isn’t just feasible, it’s happening.

 

I wouldn't expect him before 2026, to be honest. They gotta do Sunbow-accurate editions of all the S2 combiners first, and probably 1:35 scale Constructicons as well.

question, if a Skywarp repaint from Airrazor is happening (almost confirmed by Grimlock/Mirage box art) does that mean we're getting Santon from Rhinox and Lio Junior from Tigatron? will they be able to combine to form Magnaboss and if so does that mean Airrazor, Rhinox and Tigatron can combine to form their own Magnaboss?

Had that one for a bit. At least a version that was out around 2018, I think? I remember the beginning jumping around a lot before setting you up as Rey. And I think everyone from all the different continuities was there and some lost their memories?


I’m not a big Gundam fan and didn’t have the game long. I got Fate Extella on a whim soon afters and not only did it introduce me into the hell hole that is Fate, it was the same type of game so I yeeted Gundam at Gamestop for a few dollars.

 

So what does that mean for Optimus? Even then what does a "Generations aesthetic" actually imply Bulkhead will look like? Would a retool of a Prime themed Optimus not mean Bulkhead wouldn't look like, say, Prime Bulkhead?

 

It probably just means "a bit more detail" in the sculpts. Let's take BW for example; they all look pretty spot on in robot mode, but their animal modes are more realistic than their cartoon counterparts. And even though it's been a while, T30 Armada Starscream. He has a bit more detail in certain areas, but he doesn't necessarily take after the cartoon or original toy. Of course like I said, that happened a while ago and WFC onward isn't the same as T30, so I could be wrong.

 

I just don't really buy this whole "Generations style Bulkhead is basically going to be not actually any of the Bulkheads from cartoons people liked but we will get a Prime accurate Optimus" like even in the comics Bulkhead was just taking how Bulkhead looked from Prime even if everyone else was "G1 accurate"
