Walmart says June 1st, so it should be around then.

I see the release date for June 1 for Bumblebee, but Starscream simply says out of stock. I did however put my email address in for notification for in stock alert.

Here's a couple pics I just took of Kingdom Cheetor holding RED Cheetor's gun. It sits in there alright, and looks fine at certain angles, but the handle is angled so it'll be a bit crooked at some angles. The yellows match fairly well though!

Does anyone have any idea on when they might be making an announcement for the R.E.D. Knockout figure? The thing is, the link has been up for a long while without any photo uploaded, and has been \"out of stock\" since it was put up. At this point, I find it funny it was kept up since I don\'t know, it definitely feels like it wasn\'t meant to go up yet. But it was put up by Walmart instead of a 3rd party, so at least it does seem legit.

So that begs the question as to when we\'ll know a release date.

I did find a site, Collecticons, that is selling the pre-order for a pretty sizable markup. When I contacted them about the legitimacy of them selling it since no official announcement has been made (and even their page stating it\'s a Walmart exclusive), they said that yes, no announcement has been made but they will be getting them (but surprise surprise, if I doubt them, don\'t buy it, because they don\'t offer cancelations or refunds on pre-orders). They also couldn\'t specify to me when it\'d even be shipped. So granted, if they\'re legit, even they don\'t know when it\'d be released.

This makes me wonder if anyone here might have an incling of when an announcement for the next wave of R.E.D. figures might happen (I dunno if there\'s been a trend for their announcements or not)

Bumblebee and Starscream were revealed back in December, Arcee and Cheetor were revealed at Pulsecon in September. Really, the next wave should have been revealed on Friday, but no such luck. My best guess would be we'll either see them at some point randomly or they'll be the reveals for the next Fan Friday or Transformers Tuesday. I believe the next wave is supposed to be Knockout and Primal, the leaked listings haven't been wrong yet, they're just taking a while to reveal them for some reason.

RED Starscream just says Out of Stock, was it ever available for pre-order? Don't know if I missed it.

I actually like this line, and would like to collect several characters.

He was up for preorder last year around early December. I was able to preorder 2, one for me, and the second for a bud of mine.

Do any of you, by any chance, think there will be a "Transformers R.E.D. [Robot Enhanced Design]" Waves 4 and 5 in the future?

Judging by the shelf warming R.E.D. is doing at my local Walmart I'd say no. Of course they could be selling elsewhere? If only this line had been on par with other action figure lines in terms of articulation, or scaled with the current TF mainline...

There have been leaked listings for Waves 4 and 5 for a while so I wouldn't be surprised. Iirc the listings were for redecos of OP and Megs as well as TFP Knockout and BW Optimus Primal.

What's next? Unicron standing shoulder to shoulder with Bumblebee, Optimus & the rest?

Has the uncovered non-transforming Fortress Maximus trademark been confirmed as a R.E.D. figure? I remember the speculation at the time was that he would be a huge sized figure that could theoretically serve as a mainline stand-in—- but clearly, if he’s in the R.E.D. line, he’ll be 6” tall, right?

I thought it was R.E.D. Metroplex, but I'd be down for a Fortress Maximus too. l wouldn't mind a collection of mini 6 inch 'Titan' action figures as part of a small diorama. There are relatively few of them and they'd be more shelf-friendly than the actual Titan-class toys (which I like, but I'd need to buy another house for those:) )

I like the idea behind R.E.D. but I'm a little disappointed with the execution. I assumed that without the compromises of the transforming feature (such as a lower parts count), there would be a greater focus on articulation, detailing, etc. And I'm not a fan of rubbery plastic (which is really my biggest issue with these. I guess I just didn't like the feeling that Hasbro are using a budget materials budget for this line.).

Maybe I got a bit spoiled by other toylines.

Saying that, I like the look of the latest releases, though I wish Starscream had those gold/yellow details on his purple shoulder parts (and that he didn't tower over Megatron - though that might be because of his new hat :) ), and with Bumblebee, I'd have been happier with a 'smaller robot plus more accessories' approach as someone else had suggested in these forums..
