I'm all in on this idea if it means that Autobot X gets an official figure in Generations, build-a-figure or otherwise.

 

So this might the Beast Hunters Optimus we’ve heard about.


Any word on that Optimus listing that was on Amazon AU that was around $99 Au? Or was that this?

 

Same figure as the listing on Amazon AU. We now have a updated listing title and confirmation that it’s a leader class figure. Even though the $90 AUD price tag already suggested that.

 

Optimus Prime and Hot Rod?

 

I absolutely hate that every figure I have interest in is leader class and up. At this point I'm saving more money switching to 3P collecting. Still, exciting news.

 

Oh by the way, leakers have already seen Waspinator? I really looking forward to buy the one from Kingdom since I have an Earthrise Starscream so it would be like the possesion scene.

Yeah. Only an assumption due to the rumor of Bulkhead being a retool of Prime.

 

This exactly. We know a PRID Bulkhead and Prime are coming and share a mold.

Their bases designs share nothing in common, but Optimus’s BH form could work.


Ontop of that Optimus is also a leader. His original body was nothing that would warrant, say, a Doubledealer size and complex mold. But his BH form is. Throw in the Star Saber and/or Forge of Solus and you have what fits the MO of modern leader figures in Generations.

 

Is the original Beast Hunters Optimus, the big one, worth much these days on the secondary market?

 

I actually really like Beast Hunters Optimus. I'm very fond of the figure because it was what made me return to the franchise after many years (I really dig the whole line in fact).

Leader Class would be cool since while the old Voyager was good for its time, a "bulkier" (which makes sense considering he's apparently sharing a mould with Bulkhead) would be pretty appropriate (Hope this time it comes with a decent Star Saber though).

 

Is Collaborative Blaster going to be retooled from his 2016 Titans Return Leader Class figure? If it’s gonna be Voyager Class, then I’ll have to expect a new mold figure.

 

Why you want that kind of redo of Optimus Maximus, but only 1 repaint/retool from Dead End, 3 repaints/retools from Breakdown, 1 repaint/retool from Drag Strip, & 2 repaints/retool from Wildrider.

 

I am going to be honest seen prime figures right now make me angry for beast wars we have to wait until their 25 anniversary, the armada line is basically form of characters wit g1 articulation their 20 anniversary is next year, while the prime figurea have great figures and articulation and only have 10 years, while the original rid line spychangers havent receive anything is really sad

 

I thought the Optimus and Motormaster from CW were very awkward.
