Huh, that's pretty cool. I would say it’d be nice to get that here, but MSRP’s here regardless are lower so they seem to skip that part of the equation. Interesting stuff going on there.

So for the last 38 pages we get the not accurate (yup, from a series notorious for "consistency" in both plot and production values) from the source materials when the reveal is that of protos and the dreaded cost.

I got to hand it to TT though, their MPs though blockbuster sellers for the most part (ahem Tracks mold, ahem........), compared to Bandai's Chogokin Macross lines. Their price/cost and business model (separate missile pods and fastpacks) though somewhat acceptable/understandable and no one seems to complain about it, tend to evaporate (figuratively like an ice cube in the middle of Death Valley) during POs.

Jet/Skyfire I'm willing to bet will be very much available giving fans a variety of choices to be able to purchase them at the prices they can afford.

We got there in the end! Japanese MSRP is an inflated number nodoby actually pays. Japanese MSRP =/= 'the price'. MP-44 is NOT 'a 450 USD figure'.

Of course it's flat! Show me water bending around a ball. You can't as it doesn't happen! Why don't planes have to keep dipping their noses to follow the curve and avoid flying straight off into space? Because it's flat. Show me a photograph of the supposed curvature...

This really does help make him look better but I still can't get over how low the wings are on him. I hope it's a miss transformation or they fix it.

Wunderbar :) . One thing I noted about this block proto was that (at this stage at least) the Autobot insignia is a molded part rather than a flat surface with a tampograph. Again keeping in mind it's early days and much will change before release, but the only thing I'd maybe be worried about is that it doesn't appear to be the toon style insignia that's molded in. That would actually be a big gripe for me if that made it to the final product, I need consistent insignias on my figures :p

Also if this proto is anything to go by I'd say a waist swivel is unlikely, his alt mode cockpit looks like it might hinder that the same as the new Seeker mold.

    Thanks so much friends!!!

@turbobluestreak I will be surprised and slightly disappointed if the wings can't be positioned higher. I really think they'll be able to, but if they can't I can deal with one or two things being off like that, particularly if they make transformation possible. I always have to remind myself that even MP-36 has a bunch of compromises despite me thinking of him as "perfect" :lol

@Chris C137 good spot on the insignia--I'd be a little annoyed by that too, but maybe there will be more than two insignia options like @Sam postulated at one point? So we could maybe get toon and toy options for both factions, and a blank one?

Also if anyone wants to see the cleaned up image or mess around with it, here it is:

I think the sign will be flippable, you don't really need the molding on a block prototype unless its a gimmick you're testing. I'm so pumped to see this properly revealed with MP-52, hopefully soon enough.

Great job on the digi as usual! Looks fantastic! I think the photo was taken at a pretty low angle which is why the wings look wonky. Hopefully they are higher in reality.

I stood MP-10 next to FT Phoenix and it looks like the TT version will be a little shorter but not nearly as short as I was expecting so I’m happy with the size. Hopefully it will be lighter as well. People go on about the FT heft but Phoenix is way too heavy and always makes me nervous that he will fall over and crush another figure.

Hehe.. or maybe because some people (OP) just straight up manhandled their Masterpiece toys without any finesse.... ;)
And never bothered to check out proper and respected hobby YouTube toy channels like Wotafa, EmGo etc....on the PROPER WAY / TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE..to avoid damage or breakage to their collectables.
