If you go by this scale chart Shoki is around the same height as the rest of the team and should come up to Prime's chest while Prime should come up to Raiden's knee-ish. So considering TT probably won't be using partsforming then if the individual bots are too scale Raiden will be out of scale, meanwhile if you make Raiden scale without partsforming than the individual bots would be out of scale like the 3rd party option.

Also Star Convoy is ducking huuggee.

 

I hope they'll make the individual robots the same height as Ironhide, so that they match the scale chart. And then by some TT magic they are able to extend the combined form a bit. But if Raiden is a bit out of scale, I won't mind. I think it can't be done otherwise unfortunately. Either the individual robots or their combined form will suffer a bit I guess. Curious how TT is going to pull this all of. They've proven before that they're wizards. This is going to be a great ride!

 

Too bad Metroplex isn’t on here. I’ve always seem to find contradictory examples of Metroplex’s height with Fort Max. I guess it depends on the context.

OK, in all honesty, I might go in if it's Devs' size just so my titans can be a bit more balanced (Omega and Ark vs Devs, Trypticon, Scorponok and Black zarak) but if it'll be $100+ per component, I just hope they're a good deal apart from each other.... Can't afford $600 at once for a dude I'm going to leave in combined mode.

 

Trains are huge I am ok with the trainbots being Prime sized.

 

I know the toy of Fort Max outsized Metroplex but to me Metroplex will always be bigger since he was a damn city and For Max was just a battle station/space ship.

 

Exactly. I still fudge the scales, but Metroplex/Trypticon I put in a display with the little PVC figures, while Fort Max/Scorpy I just put with the other CHUG figures. They're big, just not crazy big.

 

this one page came out in a magazine, , and it was not an official Takara Magazine, and clearly in the show, he is not that much bigger. and other than this ONE page, he was never shown in any capacity to be this size, Slightly bigger maybe but more like about the same size. They are shown in City mode /vehicle mode sitting right next to each other and other than FM tower they look pretty close to being the same size.

 

Well I've never seen the Japanese series, so that image was all I've seen on the boards on how tall he was.
Then again, guess they decided to really make him live up to that height when he showed up again in Robots in Disguise.
