I generally favor a more G1 cartoon-based collection layout, but there are some deviations here and there mostly due to space constraints. This year I'm focusing more on the collection display itself. Right now I'm looking for some good LED strip lights to use since I mistakenly went with black shelves over white, so any suggestions from the collection pros here would be appreciated! Awesome collection! I think my favorite shelf of yours is a tie between your MOTU shelf and your 1987 'cons.
Ratbat is more clever and dangerous than we often give him credit for. Wise of you to place him front and center. Also, I think your black shelves look absolutely stellar. White may make lighting easier, but with what you're currently using, the indirect light is softened a lot and it gives them a sharper contrast. You could also try some colored lighting for themed setups on a couple of them--green for a spy ops center featuring Soundwave and Lockdown, red for a missile command post, etc.
Looks nice!! Your collection is probably the closest one similar to mine. I see you choose to display Earthrise figures over their siege counterparts in the main display
