I would probably be booted out of here if I didn't at least comment on this. :D

I agree darker blue is better. The Japanese cartoon version had a black head. The U.S. version was greyish blue.
Not bad for an evil Goldbug.
He would be even better if he had gold chromed parts. :ev:
Too bad I won't be able to afford it.

I was hoping they would do another seeker like all black Starscream or Sunstorm. That would really make people happy.

Edit: LOL, talk about dead horse...

I am very curious about the Megatron mold one, I can't wait to see that.

I don't recognize this mold. Is it one of the Hot Shots? (I skipped all of those)

Are you REALLY going to play that red herring?
That's true of comics, but not-so-much on animation (watch as people pull out examples thinking this invalidates my argument) In any event, I'm not even sure how this, even if true Re: Rebirth (which I'll certainly be sure to watch when I get home), invalidates the point.... Seems like people (not just you) are just being hateful for being hateful's sake.

EDIT: Goldbug's head (in the screen caps I currently have access to) is certainly more blue than Megatron's cannon, which is consistently black and gray (again, in the screen caps I currently have access to) .

That seems totally out of character for people in the TF fandom...

Dude, I was with you untill you posted this. Just because someone disagrees with you does not mean they are being hateful. There's been a really disturbing trend in this fandom for the past couple of years where by any disagreement is claimed to be hate. Do you people even know what true hate is? What it drives people to do or become? Seriously here, this is a board for toys. Kids toys. If you all are this thin skined, maybe you need to find a more solitary hobby.

I'm not being hateful. Just saying it's black in my opinion. And I'm not stating it as fact and trying to correct people who say otherwise.

Also, worrying about FunPub's toes aside, I do like that figure. A nice change after Grafitti Prime.

I'm not responding to the disagreement (blue/black, a disagreement with just one person), but rather the dog-piling on the toy, when I complain about folks being hateful.

EDIT: Or, to put it another way, I wasn't complaining about anyone being hateful to me, personally. But rather that so many people seem to love being hateful about anything FP does. I probably should have separated that sentence from the paragraph it was connected to. But I did think that the person I had the disagreement with was determined to be hateful about the toy, which is why I said it.

Adding the "in my opinion" tag doesn't make it so. The statement "it's black" is a statement of fact. One that's disprovable. (Whether it actually IS disproved or not is not the question here. It's being disprovable is what makes it a statement of fact as opposed to opinion.) Your argument about blue-as-black doesn't hold water. In the TF cartoon, when something's supposed to be black, it's either black or shades of grey. Blue is used for black comics, yes. But not the cartoon.

What's with the blue head and paint details in bot mode? Doesn't go at all with the rest of the colouring. Other than that looks decent though, the alt mode would look interesting beside Uni/2.0 Sunstreaker...

    FAN-TAS-TIC!

Love Goldbug a lot! I'd get the set just for that figure alone. Glad my card got charged today.
