I actually really like the colors on Bumblebee. Pleasing to the eye. I just might have to purchase him at the very least.

 

Couple of thoughts:

Only 6 releases? Damn that sucks. And based on who it looks like is coming, it will be pretty underwhelming. Most of those Hasbro did alright with. This line really needs to get to Kingdom which seems to be regularly skipping paint apps again.

Why did it take TakaraTomy to step in to provide accurate figures when there is already a Netflix line in the US? Talk about a huge missed opportunity. TakaraTomy definitely realized it.

i really don't understand Megatron's inclusion, here. Unless they're just releasing the Netflix deco for Japan. Now that I say that, it makes sense, I guess. kinda bummed that this is just siege and ss toys. Mind you, by saying they're going for screen accuracy, they can twist that any way they want. they could a run of screen accurate figures based on the Japanese cartoons, if they wanted.

He’s holding the ax the wrong way. On a different subject, I hope these come to pulse at $30 for a deluxe, and $40 for a voyager.

 

I can’t customize to save my life. Because of the scarcity of ER Ratchet, I used fists from an extra Siege and the head from a Siege one in case I messed up. It took many layers of white and red to get it. Lots of touching up too. I’m totally NOT a customizer. But this was mostly easy.

 

I really like the look of Bumblebee. I must admit.  

 

Can't wait to see Wheeljack.

They should be. No mention of them being TakaraTomy Mall exclusives and @Pixelmaster already posted the Amazon links earlier in the thread.

They're about ¥1,000 more expensive than regular deluxes and voyagers.

Anyone know the exact pictures the WFC listings(besides Wheeljack) are using? I've been trying to figure these out for maybe the past hour or so and it's driving me crazy not being able to match them.

 

This continues to make me wonder, why the hell does the 3A prime exist.... This is as screen accurate as the figure....

 

From the looks of the 3A figure it’s significantly bigger, much heftier and significantly more articulated than the voyager figure. It’s also going to have a much higher standard to its painting than anything Takara will put out. Compare the weathering on the final product of this compare to the 3A and you’ll see a big difference.

I guess, but do people really care that much about the Netflix show to drop $100-$150 more for slightly better paint and extra articulation? Prime barely does anything in the show that would require it anyway. Not to mention the show being extremely blame compared to literally any other tf show.

 

Yeah but they had another one with regular Nova Storm in. Could have just kept it as is... :v
