Leader easily. Hes got the chunk of Doubledealer and the complexity to warrant it, which a lot of previous leaders lack tbh. So thats $50, say $15- $20 for the trailer and the rest for the weapons and accessories thats ya price point reached.

The new pictures look good. The fact that he has such big hands compared to Optimus is a bit weird, though, and something about the robot chest looks off. I can commend not using a faux-hood, but he feels a bit bloated.

 

Funny you mention that, because Siege and ER leaders weren't living up to the name. Outside of Magnus and maybe Shockwave, it felt less like they were Leader and more like they were pushing themselves above Voyager pricepoint. So when Roddy looks better I wanna shout "Thats how its supposed to be!"

lol nice, I just wish they remembered "more durable plastic" exists when they load up figures with clear plastic.

 

in the case of MP44, many would have bought just the figure, the gun and the blast accessory if they could. with rodimus, the trailer is a part of his whole deal.

 

What would be the price point of a figure like, say, Cybertron Crumplezone today? Or Energon Landmine? Energon Shockwave?

I get aging Rodimus up but, dang, it’s like they went for emaciated old man instead. Like one step from the grave. Super odd. IMHO.

 

The more I see of this, the more I dislike it. The head is terrible.

I mean, probably. He's a larger figure but may still hit retail if Sky Lynx did well enough. I was able to get one of those at Target for something like $50 thanks to a combination of price matching and Circle coupon.

Here's the thing I always say: If you want it, preorder now. If you're waiting on a sale that means acknowledging that sale either may never come or that the sale will come and you'll miss out because they're already out of stock before you get there.

I was gonna say, if you’re waiting for a sale that means you don’t really care if you get it or not BUT I then remembered that everyone is on their own unique budget.

I guess cut back on whatever weekly extra but unnecessary expense you engage in and save up. I think Hasbro did a second run of Jetfire because he turned out to be popular.

I get the feeling this guy might be hard to find eventually. There’s a lot of naysayers but it’s friggen the best Rodimus. It is costly but that doesn’t stop folks from eventually plunking down cash.
