I wanted my very own CHUG Blaster but the only mainstream ver is the Leader class and that doesn't fit my collection. So after seeing Gotbot's vid on how he made a Blaster from Siege Soundwave, I decided I wanted to do the same with something readily available and very cheap. And so I learned of tje Authentics line and how underrated it is. I bought 2 Authentics Soundwave and made these 2 my CHUG figures! Blaster's head can be found on Thingiverse and is actually compatible with Siege Soundwave but in order to make it fit the Authentics Soundwave balljoint, I had to drill off some bits in order to make the hole in the head wider. For the gun, i just use an extra gun I had from my MFT Dinobots and for the colors are acrylic dry brush Original colors Primed in mecha grey The chest is made from 2 layers of box pieces. And 1 piece cut to resemble Blaster's chest window 2-3 layers of colors with 3 minute wait in between later.... Blaster's head, one tidied and one not Drilled the hole up just a bit Had to sand the ball joint btw, so that I'll be a tad bit smaller Done! With the team With Soundwave Sound System Encounter Blaster: I've been waiting a long time for this, you sorry excuse for a sound system...!" Soundwave: ALL TALK, NO SHOCK. Overall this project is a great experience ^^ Say cheese!
Your customs are so good that you should invest in styrene instead of cardboard. Nontheless, stellar work!
Thanks! I'll probably will buy some styrene later on to do some more customs! Had to use the cardboard box because I didn't do any prep material-wise (and I'm in quarantine so I couldn't go out) XD
