Well, in the past IDT and the rest have had to do deals with Hasbro UK to get the US exclusives - Not sure how that works in a post Pulse UK world though. IDT have been getting a few imports recently, but that pushes the price up sadly.

Whatever the deal, so far IDT have had all the SG figures and the funky Ractonite for a few quid more on each IIRC, and always just after the Hasbro reveal.

We still have the mash and gravy over here*. In fact, they now do a 'bowl' with just the mash, some popcorn chicken, gravy and cheese.....it works out at about three of your British pounds, and its super good..... which is needed, as over here EVERYTHING in KFC is spicy!

You will be distressed to learn that Wendys left Singapore a couple of years ago. I was a big fan here too, but they just couldn't compete here and were losing money. We have a load of fast food places from Shake Shack to Popeyes here now.

Working treads are a treat, but it's both a budget and engineering headache. They were good in CW Armada Megatron at least. Trundlin' along.

The Grimlock headsculpt is like, the prettiest thing I have ever seen! It's right up there with the likes of Budora. I can justify the whole set for that head alone.

    Good morning All.

Anyone wanting Grim from that 2pk and not mirage I’d be happy to go in with you as I’m not into BWs although I always liked Shadow Panther MP and keep considering I may pick up the KO of it.

Airwave and Optimus Primal are the ones from Kingdoms I keep getting drawn to. Stay strong Steve. Don’t buckle.

If anyone does want to go in together on that 2pk, keep me in mind.

    Many thanks.

Am i crazy for thinking of getting the selects god neptune, some pink, blue, sea green, white and black paint and repainting that expensive set into the seacons colours, to get a cw seacon set that isn't a ripoff?

Terrific! Somehow I ended up having all of these as a kid, they're still in a bag somewhere (though all those silver guns were a little bit brittle and I think one or two aren't looking so healthy). Some of those things were quite the puzzle to pack back up into the cars!

HELP! I'M AT THE AGE WHERE AN ELECTRIC NOSE HAIR TRIMMER IS A USEFUL THING TO HAVE!

Tell me about your fave childhood (as in you owned it as a child) Transformers toys so I can distract myself from the onset of age and inevitable oblivion that will consume us all!

    Me first.

Pretender Starscream as he was the only villain I owned as a kid. Probably why he was my fave Decepticon for a long time. Might track one down one day.

    Cleaned a few posts.

    Another rule reminder:
Rule 1. No Insults, Trolling, Flaming, Name Calling, Harassing, Etc.
We will not tolerate insults, excessive profanity or throwing a topic off course. Use of racial, bigoted, sexist, or discriminatory terms or phrases is not accepted. Posts intended solely to antagonize others are not accepted. Keep topics/posts where they belong. Generally, “play nice”.

Rule 13. No Disruptive Posting or Flamebaiting
Do not purposely post anything which will cause another member (or members) to react negatively. This is subjective. The TFW2005 staff will evaluate the trend of posts made by those consistently being reported or those that are repeatedly involved with arguments on the site. If their overall method or content of posting leads to staff attention repeatedly, we reserve the right to warn, infract and/or ban accordingly.

And please don't post "Ooh, what'd I miss?"
    You missed nothing.

I pop the safety piece off my nose hair trimmer and use the blade beneath carefully mine grows that quick. There's bound to be a reason hair disappears from the top of your head to growing around it!

My fave was Scorponok but you might have guessed that. After that probably Flattop.

It's hard to choose a favourite, but here's a notable one for me.

Ultra Magnus was my first ever 'big' transformer (i.e. one in a box rather than a card), must have received him in November 1986 for my birthday. My excitement was palpable, as I don't even think I'd seen the toy before so I had no idea about the fact it had a white Optimus at the front. I distinctly recall not working out how the small bot 'plugged in' to the armour for a few days and just sort of 'hanging' it on the back until I noticed that the fist holes lined up with some pegs.

Here is is sitting on my TF shelf today. He needs a good dusting, ratchets in the arms are all a bit tight, and you can see that my 7 year old self wasn't amazing at putting a sticker on straight. But he's still pretty special.
