Probus re-issue will probably be last, but if I had to guess I'd say no.

 

And last night I secured a deal to sell my TFC Liokaiser and MP King Grimlock. Let's go.

 

I'll leave these pics here of my Monolith and Assaultus for others that may not be sure what direction to go. More for the aesthetic and size difference than anything else. Neither are perfect.

 

I’m debating whether to pull the trigger an going all in on the reissue is it really worth it? How’s the overall stability with the add on kit?

 

This is what I'm wondering about, I hope they've fixed the stability and give him stronger ratchets for both arms.

 

Even with the looser joints of Incursus 1.0 (and hopefully touched up a bit with the re-release), I've found the stability with the add-on kit to be excellent. The foot add-ons especially give him just that extra boost of surface area to be able to stand firmly in most poses on a variety of surfaces (although I've never tried something as smooth as glass). The loose shoulders come into play when you have the arms at full extention with the guns in-hand, but I find he still holds poses as long as the elbows are a bit bent, without the replacement shoulder(s) installed.

The one questionable aspect of Incursus' joints aside, the set is absolutely worth it. One of the most complete and "playable" third party sets I've ever experienced, and overall very sturdy feeling (of course being somewhat careful with obviously delicate parts like Impetus' rotors and landing gear).

 

I'm mainly waiting to see if they do a Ruination.

I'm good with most any repaint, as they almost all have black heads for Onslaught... (even urban camo!)

 

Played around with the combiner joints for a minute. Shoulders seem nice and stiff, legs seem alright. I'll see if I can combine him tomorrow as I'm probably gonna have to do some robo-surgery first.

The sliding mechanism on the leg does not go all the way in on the right leg.

 

Here's my suggestion. Regular releases and a boxset for toon Ruination/Baldigus then release western toy Armorhide with the upgrade set in grey.

 

Of course it is, it isn't a f@king pantsformer.
