I am really liking the changes to Mirage, especially the legs and lack of clearness. I guess I need to hang on to my Siege Mirage’s launcher since it is colored right. I like the Grimlock(especially the head), but the deco isn’t as 97 Grimlock as I would have liked it to be. Still cool though, my preorder is in.

You know, I'll be honest, I don't think I like it. Grimlock looks a little bit unfinished, and Mirage seems off to me. And $80 for it? That's about $10 more than it should be, even with the new prices. Idk, maybe I'll come around on it, but right now I'm not interested

Everyone seems to like it, so maybe I'm missing something

Edit - I live in Canada

So, “With Dinobot, Starscream, and Waspinator in pursuit” does that mean Starscream and Waspinator are coming in a rival 2-pack? Hearing things, Starscream and Waspinator are in Wave 4 Kingdom - I just find it odd they’re mentioned. Terrorsaur is supposed to be an exclusive as well, so I wonder if/who he’d be packaged with.

The biggest disappointment with Mirage is that he doesn't have his classic shoulders. I was expecting them to fix that with this release instead of still using the spoiler as part of them.

Grimlock should have his spots too.

You know, I'm sure this is just some needless Minot paranoia on my part, but not a single image of Mirage has the shoulder Cannon in place, and there are joints where it should plug in.

I'm sure you can still plug the cannon into his shoulder, we just aren't getting a good look at the port in top. But still something I noticed.

He should. It looks like the ports should be on the new pieces the shoulders rotate on (in white plastic). You can vaguely see them in the photos, but the white combined with lighting makes them less clear than they would otherwise be.

Now it's a matter of finding the one with Sideswipe.

The colors on Grimlock result in a much more cohesive Raptor mode.

Man I am thrilled for everyone who is loving this, almost as much as I am thrilled that this is not going to be an essential for me. I like it, and if it goes on sale at some point I'll probably get it. It's nice and all just not enough for me to get at this point. Cheers to all the fans, though!

Really liking the look of Mirage, and will be happy to have an Earth mode version of him (come on, just do Sideswipe and Hound to finish up the Siege redos). Car mode looks a lot better to me, with nicer lines and a slightly more believable spoiler. He still has those terrible legs, but at least they are opaque plastic this time!

I don't really have any connection to BW Grimlock (aside from being a Grimlock) so the changes don't bother me personally. But I get people potentially being disappointed at how much it diverges from the BW toy, especially with the lack of spots. Personally I think he actually looks pretty nice (better than the original toy), I like that pale palette of earthtones on him. The main thing that bugs me is the unpainted dino eyes on his chest. Those are really... an eyesore....

Mirage looks good, although I think vehicle mode looks a bit worse with how much smaller the spoiler got, exposing more robot bits. I'm glad there's no freaking translucent plastic on important hinges for this guy, though. Grimlock is disappointing, pretty much entirely because he's missing his dalmatian spots. I like the Dinobot mold a ton, but this just doesn't feel like Grimmy to me. I'll be picking this up, but Grimlock might be getting sold off. We'll see where we go.

As luck would have it, I’m buying this mostly for Grimlock since he’s the most interesting of the two. I’m indifferent to this version of Mirage.

Possibly, but I think it's just for the mini-lore or whatever that these exclusives often have. All three of them are in the box art background and don't appear to be look any different (keeping in mind that we haven't seen Waspinator's toy yet, of course).

grimlock needs more deco, but looks, fun enough, I was hoping for more toy accurate coloring though.

mirage, well, I would like either version if they'd retool him into a buggy or something, but he's too boxy for an open wheel car.

yeah, I feel like a lot of folks are saying they're selling Grimlock...
(I'm excited about both honestly, would have preferred Dalmatian 'Lock, but it's not a dealbreaker for me)

no, just a reference to the mainline figures (Voyager Dinobots, Core Starscream and wave 4 Waspinator)

My cousin can have Mirage. I’m so excited to see a new Beast Wars Grimlock as my childhood figure broke due to gps.
