So I get an e-mail from Pulse on Monday or Tuesday saying they have Netflix Cheetor for $22 and change. I figured "Well, I've seen all the rest except for him in the wild. I have the free shipping with Pulse. Might as well get him and not worry about driving to different Walmarts to try and find it." Pulled the trigger and it will be here Tuesday. Went to Eubank Walmart last night and looked at the toy section, and of course there's 2 Cheetors sitting there. Figures :/ Was surprised to see 2 Classified Cobra Commanders there. First time seeing them!
Finally saw an Airrazor today. Found 2 of them and also saw the black Ironhide and Huffer. Only thing I have yet to see is a Kingdom Megatron, Netflix Cheetor, and an SS Scourge. If I see them again, I will probably pick one or two of those up.
Netflix Cheetor is great. I opened mine up just last week and he's super fun. I wish he had a belly cannon gun thing, but oh well. Maybe we'll get it down the road somewhere?

Dang, that looks pretty cool, but it's almost the same price as the figure... that's a bit of a hard sell, but I'm gonna think about it too.
don't look at it like it's the price of the figure, look at as if it's the cost to complete the mini mp cheetor.
Ha, these 2 post remind me of my view of buying the Fansproject upgrade for ROTF Bruticus. I thought the cost of the upgrade was too much to upgrade a cheaper toy. I think Orio said something to the effect of "it makes an awful toy great" or something like that. End result is I bought the upgrade and was happy with the purchase for many years. Not that this is the same cost (I think Bruticus was $40 marked down to $25 and Fansproject was $100 or $120), but it depends on how you want to display Cheetor. At least this is a good Cheetor unlike the Universe toy from back in the day.
that bruticus/superion set era was why I'm even here, if you have him and are going to get rid of him, I'd be interested. (might not have him though.)
That's very true, and at the time, that was the best way to have a G1 looking Bruticus, but that set doesn't hold up the same anymore. I sold mine last year and don't really miss it. I still have all the variant of Energon bruticus though, because they were fun on their own. I kinda wanna get Superion Maximus and Devastator Maximus again, someday...
Yeah, that was an era. I sold mine off years ago. I think about the time Warbotron was coming out. Then Combiner Wars hit and it was all over for that. I still have half a TFC Superion that I don't know if I should complete or count my losses on. Still have Fansproject Menasor, TFC Devastator, and MMC Predaking that I use for my classics.
That pink part of the gun on Cheetor looks like his intestines. LOL Looks good otherwise. Has anyone gotten any of those RED figs? If so, how do you like them? I'm still on the fence with them. I really like the Cheetor one and more than likely get that one. I just wanted your opinions on that llne.
they're meant to be his intestines. the original toys did that. I'm curious about the RED figures, but I haven't seen any in reality yet.
Awesome gross 90s stuff. But yeah, the toy had intestines molded in and the show gave it a pink color. But it was a seperate gun from the tail gun that I believe wasn't in the series but was a fuction of the toy.
Just FYI, Rhinox was found at Coors and Paseo targets yesterday. There were three. Ricemaster grabbed the one at Coors and a buddy picked up one for me and one for him at Paseo.

happy pride month y'all! I'm looking for a Netflix Voltron, anyone got ideas/know of one I could pick up? the die cast option is more compact, but all I need is the basic concept, five lions that become Voltron, so, any for a fair price would be nice. I know I missed the boat by a bit, but I like it enough I figured I could try to chase one down EDIT; Snagged one of the metal defender sets on eBay.
I thought the metal defender sets were the better sets to get, the larger plastics were cool, but the metal set will last longer, and just feels right when you are messing with them for display and posing.
I got metal defender today actually, in the mail, but I'm waiting for a wing kit and shield kit for him, I also need a neck joint kit, but I'm not sure between using a mixel joint or if there's a 3D print file.
