My PT copy had loose legs and couldn't stand, and I wasn't the only one. Had to tighten them. Otherwise, no other major issues.

I found that if you follow the transformation correctly with the rear wings folded under his feet, he will tend to fall backwards, as his feet aren't completely flat, so you have to adjust his heels to match the unevenness of the front of the feet.

Otherwise, you can keep the rear wings folded over his shins instead, like shin guards. His feet will be flat then, and he'll balance easier:

Yes, I mentioned it in my post. Yours are tight, I assume? Mine's average, so the heels like push back in, which causes the feet to become uneven again.

With nothing even hinted from them about one, if it were I personally think it wouldn't happen until 2024-2029.

Welp, I folded and overpaid for an official DX9 Richthofen. I'm sure the KO is 80-90 percent as good but I just couldn't do it.

Does anyone know what the story is with all the unboxed Richthofens from China? The boxed copies specifically say they are KOs but these don’t? Are they factory rejects? Stolen from the factory?

With KOs, the provenance is questionable, but it's going to be at a lower price than the DX9 version. You kind of roll the dice with most KOs.

You could ask the seller, but I guess it's caveat emptor, either way.

Unfulfilled production run? last minute use of materials before running from debts? Will be nothing but guessing.

That said I got one off eBay for $30, it's great, my only complaint is the chest is tight when spinning it during transformation, otherwise it has no issues.

Does anyone have it and one of the KO’s to compare? Is DX9 painted or just red plastic?

The red parts of DX9 are mostly red plastic, but oddly, there are a couple of pieces that I have that are clearly red plastic, but also have brush marks.

I don't have a KO to compare it with.
