Where is the best and lowest cost/shipping place to get the whole set these days? Best on Aliexpress? EBay?

I wish I was, but often shipping from original sellers in China cost alot less on shipping to me in Canada.

Is it possible to still get the metal versions, or just mixed or plastic?

Yes. The Die cast one. Hell I have the alt color Rook as well and the OS Alpha Bravo that originally shipped with the set. And that silly red recolor of Hotspot that SirToys was selling.

 

Any stores still selling these for those of us not in the US  

 

I second this, as I Need the aerialbots, defensor and the others! all I have is G2 stunticons G2 Combaticons and Megatronia. (My Volcanicus is in the post)

 

Ok I have a crazy question, can the Ju Jiang JJ-02 jet commander swap with the other oversized combiners? I’m just curious because if they can I could make my own combiner team with that!

edit: found out they can!!!

 

You can force them in but the pegs do not slide together. There's multiple photos showing that it puts stress on the combiner socket wall.

 

For the superion torso or the Defensor torso?

 

I'll see if I can find the pics but I believe the Defensor pegs are slightly bigger than the JJ slots.

 

Got these guys about a week ago and I painted the red hotshot into POTP inferno! I have this the rest of his team coming in about a month! I’ll update my work when I’m done!

Was hoping to get some of these OS CW bots at Sir Toys but no luck.

 

I agree about the legs! I do actually plan on getting these to allow me to extend his legs without making them look to thin. I just need to figure out the conversion for the oversized and we will be good!

I don't like the CW very much because of their disproportion but knowing that the OS connectors fit with the original ones I would like to combine them ... I would need lower extremities for menasor superion and defender to combine them with upper extremities and original torso ... I did that with volcanicus and I look great, although volcanicus has only the original torso .. but I think it could be good what I want to do ... I don't know if someone has already done it ... if someone has OS legs and sell me

 

I need pieces to combine the predaking please !!!!

 

None of those combiners have OS limbs that work with the original figures.

 

Does anyone have the thickness measurement for the oversized combiner ports for the WeiJiang OS CW Defensor?

Hasbro CW combiner ports are 15mm thick, so are the WeiJiang ones like 17mm or something?

 

I actually have a heavily customized, os cw defensor if you want it
